Stayed one night at Old Town in the two bed private room. Bed was comfy, room and linen were quite clean. However, there was an odd smell to the room and the center section of the door is made of glass. Because there is no door separating the rooms from the reception, I could hear everything going on there and in the common room (even though the guests were pretty quiet), so bring earplugs and an eye mask if you are a light sleeper. A huge plus is that the staff, especially Maja, is FANTASTIC!

I stayed there two nights, and i'll go there for sure for my next trip in Zagreb. Very good location, Maja is nice and helpful, it's clean, the apartment is pretty and when i was there, other people were respectful and silent in the evening. Internet works very well.

I loved the place, because the hostel is in an old bourgeois appartement. It is very close to the center. But they have a very very little sign on the house so it is easy to miss :)

We stay in the double private and it is very spacious and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and making us feel welcoming. Hostel was clean and feel safe. Will stay here again if visit Zagreb again.

Stayed there for one night. No problems. Spacious lockers, good atmosphere.

I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. Worst pillows I've ever seen in a hostel and my mattress had seen better days. The tatami platform thing is pointless - more than 2 chairs would be far better. Alot of laundry around the place, which I've not seen in a hostel before. The shower in the shower room is fantastic - try to get that one! Great location. American FOX channel on all day - nice to have some English TV. Probably wouldn't book again, but it wasn't awful. I'd just try someplace else.

Great location, close to the main square. Really friendly staff. Very clean and secure. Only complaint would have to be the pillows, felt like my head was on a slab of concrete.

Staff very nice, showers and beds good, pans and pots in the kitchen not good, the oven and the water cooker little bit damaged. Friday night a lot of traffic noise outside.

The location is fantastic near Jelacic square. Really friendly staff, but for us Marina is the best. She gave us superb information about the city. We appreciated also the free clean towels (we could change the times we need). The common area is excellent. For us the negative point in this hostel is the kitchen. It is big but has got just a small table, another one will be fine, and is missing a microwave. Some guests could be more clean in the kitchen but this is a guests' problem.

Although this lacks the character of HoboBear, I think it is a much better hostel. The price is about the same, the beds are MUCH more comfortable, and it is in a much better location. The staff are excellent, and I found them to be more sincerely nice than others in town. I would definitely stay there again. One of the perks is that they have a washer, so if you need to clean your clothes... I was originally turned off thinking it had a curfew, but as long as you check in before 11pm, you're OK

Great Hostel, Girl at reception was awesome!! Helped us with such enthusiasm and made us feel very welcome. Great location, can walk from bus and train station and also easy walk to old town. We stayed in another hostel an extra night as they had no room, this hostel was soooo much better than the other one!

the girl who works on reception in the day time is the most helpful person we have encountered in all our hostel stays during our travelling - she is absolutely excellent. she had great recommendations for us to suit what we wanted to do & made the extra effort to arrange a day trip for us to the plitvice lakes. hostel was so clean. it was also quite small - so was cosy and quiet and it meant that extra attention was paid to individual guests. rooms were secure - lockers provided. thank you :)

I was only here 1 night, having an early flight out the next day. The girl at front desk was very helpful, calling a taxi for me, which was cheaper than what I'd heard and which was there to pick me up right on time for the airport! Hostel was very clean and safe, with security keypad to let you in & security lockers. Directions from the main bus station by tram are excellent!
