The location is great and so is the staff. The beds however are pretty uncomfortable so I recommend taking your own pillow. It's also very hot. In my opinion the beds are a little overpriced for a hostel like this. The staff was great though and recommended a lot of places and sights!
Brilliant hostess, very helpful with everything and nothing was too much to ask. Helped me organise a trip to the Plitvice lakes which was amazing, the bedding was very clean as was the bathroom and kitchen, had a cosy feel to the place.

Overall this is a pretty good hostel, but they are a bit disorganized which resulted in an unfortunately incident regarding payment. The beds are not the best, but not bad. Also this is a TINY hostel, only one 10 bed dorm and 2 smaller rooms if I remember right so barely anyone was around. I met more people on the excursion to Plitvice Lakes which is highly recommended!
I recommend staying here. The woman running the place was very nice.
I was traveling around Eastern Europe for a month and this was by far the best hostel I stayed in! I walked in and was offered dinner prepared by koraljka and other guests at the hostel. The hostel was really clean, the bathrooms were nice, and great wifi. Koraljka, who runs the hostel is also extremely helpful and a real gem!
Typical hostel in old part of town. Rooms was spacious , although old and clean, allthough old. Hostess was very helpfull. Walking distance to all main sights and from train station.
Had a very nice stay at the hostel. Koraijka, the host, was very friendly and helpful. She helped to organize a nice dinner at the hostel. Smile. Definitely a place to stay if you plan to visit Zagreb!

We had a very frustrating time at this hostel. We had booked 1 night and when we arrived asked if we could book a 2nd. The woman said there was only 2 beds left but 1 of us could sleep on the floor. We said we'd take it. Another guest arrived so she said she'd do it after she checked him in, she then gave the 2nd guest one of the beds. The next day she said the last bed was given away and we were now all sleeping on the floor.2 ppl never showed up so we slept in those. DidOurLaundryForFree
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great, lovely decorated, big lockers for free use.
Old Town Zagreb is a homely atmosphere in any way. It feels like at home with a big family. The kitchen is great. Most importantly it is very clean and safe. Ana the girl at reception is amazing, very helpful and friendly, ready to give any information if needed at any time she is there. me and a friend of mine stayed there for a couple days and we both are happy in our stay. we will be back to Zagreb again and definitely we will stay at old town Zagreb.
Wish we could have stayed a few more nights here, lovely hostel in a great part of town. Easy to find and easy to get to from the main bus station/tram.
I got there and there was nobody to open the door for me. Lot's of notes to call someone... the worst first impression. From inside the hostel is just one 8 beds dorm and one private room so there is no hostel atmosphere. But its cosy if you are ok with NO help from staff. They made a friend pass by to open the door and check me in.
I just loved the hostel. Agna just make us feel as if we were home! Zagreb is really a wonderful place to visit and spend time, but when you fin a place like Old Town Zagreb, the place you are visiting becomes much better. Thank you Ana so much for all your help.
Very good. Super friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!
Cute small hostel in a good location. Ana the receptionist is really lovely and seems to be constantly cleaning which can only be a good thing! The kitchen is reasonably well equipped too which is great! Not a party hostel if that's what you're looking for, but a great place to stay for a few days exploring Zagreb!
A small hostel on the third floor (2nd by European definition) of an old building about 10-15 minutes walk from both the main square and the railroad station. No elevator, but receptionist Ana helped me carry my heavy rolling bag up the stairs. Rooms large and cheerful. Big shared room. They arrange shuttles to Plitvice National Park for about US $32 allowing you 4 hours to explore on your own, enough to do the boardwalk trails in Upper and Lower Lakes. Or you can do Zegreb-Plivice-Split.
Great decor, helpful and welcoming staff, perfect location and kitchen was well equipped. Very peaceful hostel. Strongly recommended.
