Years of devotion have created the absolute home away from home when you in the company of Legend Crazy Dave & Bella at the charming Old Vic Inn in Nelspruit. Be it a sundowner on the sundeck overlooking the nature reserve. Or a splash in the pool it's easy to forget that you actually in town when you this close to nature, hearing the songs of the abundent variety of birdlife. After a day exploring Kruger, or of sight seeing there is nothing better than a home cooked meal and a nights' sleep in one of our dorms, budget rooms, en suites or family units.

Latest Review
The building is upscale and the grounds your pleasant. My room was clean and I was satisfied with the size. The location and the absence of services-restaurants, bus service, etc - were a disadvantage. My main criticism was my impression that the owners were capitalizing on this. Supper was R130 which was the highest amount I observed in a backpacker setting in South Africa. I did not like the 5% administrative charge added to a visa account. Crazy Dave may have been Greedy Dave.
