Looks like it was once a beautiful hostel, but it has been a bit neglected now. It smelled like cat urine outside. Pool was very dirty.

Very nice building and grounds. Beautiful pool, lush gardens and all kinds of birds. The staff was nice but not particularly helpful about Kruger and things to do. Things improved when we had a brief encounter with the owner who was uber-knowledgeable but that was just a quick exchange of suggestions as we were going out the door. The room itself was small and cramped but the beds were comfortable. There were no screens on the windows and not all of the beds had mosquito nets.

Hot water for afternoon shower lasted 3 minutes or less. Owner does not allow consumption of alcohol on premises unless purchased from him. Although you will need a vehicle to stay [or be stranded depending on others to give you a lift] , parking is extremely limited and there is a good chance that your vehicle will either be boxed in or will have to be parked on the street.
