Down a quiet side road, you would never find it on your own! Nice area to sit and order food and use the free wi-fi. Rooms on the top floor can get very hot!

The staff here are fantastic and know how to run a business, always ensuring the customer is happy rather then most other indian business' that would do what they can to rip you off a dollar, rather then looking at it from a long term perspective. Id defiantly recommend this place n would go back. Locations great only a short walk from the river, wifis good, they offer free pick up from train station. Boat ride through the ganges river also offered, no pressure to buy anything.

This place is a good value for the money. Some rooms are nicer than others and some are small and are on high floors so lots of stairs. Other than that the rooms are all clean and have excellent hot water. They have a restaurant on the main floor. The staff are very helpful and nice and will arrange pick up for you from train station and reasonably priced city tours. It is walking distance to the main ghat and lots of restaurants, shopping and temples.

very friendly hostel owner who caters to all needs. room is spotless and comfortable. hot shower was very good. everything was excellent and is very good value for money. They also offer free pick up from the train station but the pickup man wasn't very keen. I just by chance bumped into him. the hostel should inform us to wait at a certain place, such as the autorickshaw stand, as the station is so crowdy and large.

I had a very nice tour around varanasi organised from the hotel. I really enjoyed it. Also the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and gave me a lot of information about varanasi.

We had a reservation for 1 double superior room with bath, and a double room with bath. When we got to the hostel we had a double room without bath, a normal double room with a dirty bathroom. In telling the manager of the hostel we had two doubles with bathroom, he told us that he had no more than that. The problem is that he had booked the others, and showed us a FALSE Hostelworld reservation paper. THEY ARE LIARS. NO VAYAS NUNCA A ESTE HOSTEL. SON UNOS MENTIROSOS.

As such the Old Yogi Lodge is good, near Vishwanath Temple & Ganga ghat.. But Only thing that bothered me was its location which is very bad.. (Dirty Area) no cleanliness outside the lodge .
