We have stayed in a lot of backpackers and this is easily the worst. it smelt terrible the was no elevator so you had to take your bag up a lot of stairs which became tiring quickly and the bathroom was always flooded the shower head was broken on the floor and the shower curtain had been ripped off. The bathroom was so dirty that you don't want to shower at all. Our room didn't have a window either so it was extremely hot! The staff was really lovely however.

Staff was friendly, building is pretty old. It's a bit hard to find, there's no big sign on the outside of the building so just make sure you know the address. This hostel was worth the price but I only stayed one night and would only recommend for a short stay. Rooms are a bit stuffy and uncomfortable beds.

The Sangria night was a lot of fun. The girl that hosted it was very kind and fun to hangout with. Forget her name but know she's from Finland I believe. The guys at reception were very nice and helpful. The hostel stairway had a terrible smell. As well the kitchen had limited glasses/mugs. The mattress was not very comfortable.

just worst!!!

Good hostel but its right next to the sagrada familia so the streets are full of Asian crowds carrying selfie sticks like the floods of spear wielding tribal warriors in the Michael Cain film Zulu. Also there was a guy in the room who snored like there was construction work going on in his nose and it was hard to sleep but actually it wasnt so bad because sometimes his snores were rythmic and at one point he snored out the tune to the Italian national anthem perfectly.

One of the worst hostels I've stayed in - it's small, old and hard to find (the name is only on the doorbell). Hostel is close to a metro station and Sagrada Familia, but it's not the nicest area at least at nights. Beds weren't very comfortable and there are very few bathrooms available.

Positive : It was VERY clean, I really appreciated that. The hostel is well located and facilities are very nice and completed. Negative : I had the impression that the staff was bored or too "mecanic", they seemed on an automatic mode. I did 6 others hostels and I really enjoyed friendly reception were we feel comfortable to ask for help if needed. At Ole Barcelona, I didn't felt that warm human interaction.

Nice hostel.

everything was okey! very cheap and is an excellent hostel. the only thing is that they got only one bathroom per floor so at bussy times (morning and night) you have to wait a lot and was quite annoying.

Location was great and the staff was amazing!!! The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Sadly, the beds were very uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay there again.

The hostel has a perfect location and is really good with its price. The only bad thing is the bed is a little too old and dirty

There was no sign in front of the hostel so it was a little bit difficult to find the place. Our room was at the highest floor and since there is no elevator we had to do so many stairs every day. The sheets of the bed were really worn out. The guy working there didn't know anything about the area we were at so couldn't recommend us anything at all his excuse was that he didn't live there. The positive thing was that the hostel wasn't far from Sagrada Familia and the trams.

Pros: clean room for cheap, staff is nice, fast wifi in rooms. Cons: weird sewery smell in stairwells (didn't reach my room); only one toilet bathroom per floor (it was in use literally every time i wanted it); you can hear conversations from rooms down the hall; the power randomly went off for a bit; someone decided to do laundry at 1 am, which caused loud screeching noises throughout the floor; and the communal areas aren't very comfortable. But its cheap so if you can deal, its worth it.

Wifi didn't work with neither my Android phone nor tablet on the top floor room despite there being a wifi-router outside. A guy next to me with an iPhone had connectivity but he said the connection was a bit slow.

This place is super dirty . The beds are not confortable, the room has lot of light the doors are broken.

When you came in the hostel was specific smell. Bathrooms were dirty. Beds are uncomfortable, but it's ok staying for night or two.

room and bathrooms were fine and clean, nice staff, great location

It loses at cleanliness, but staff were really helpful and nice

Great hostel, friendly and helpful staff, nicely located right next to the Sagrada Familia and the Metro, short route to the center and the railway station and, biggest plus of all, it was clean! I traveled with my 11 year old son and stayed in a private room for a very good price. Thanks for the stay guys, we both loved it!

Decent room and nice bathrooms. Good kitchen but no oven to use. The first guy we came across was quite rude to us and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests because we asked to drop off our bags early a few hours before check in. MOST OF ALL the entrance and stairway of the hostel smelled like a sewer. As if there was an open drain somewhere. The issue might get solved but it didn't improve at all over the 2 nights we were there. Luckily the smell didn't reach the room or kitchen
