This was a good hostel for a few days. It was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. Unfortunately, the water in the shower quickly went cold and the security of the building was questionable. In any case I had a great stay :)

Overall a very good hostel that was cheap. It wasn´t anything extravagant, but since we only spent time sleeping there it was a good value. It is a little ways away from the city center, but that also means it is closer to parc guell and tibidabo. I booked 2 spots in a room for my friend and I but we ended up getting split up into two different rooms, and her room did not lock. The staff switched things around so we could room together though, which was nice. I would stay there again.

We walked out after five minutes... And I'm pretty sure there were crack whores hanging out in the sketchy lobby. There wasnt even a sign outside for this place... It was basically in a random apartment building.

Great location. The bathrooms are really clean, look brand new. The rooms could use a touch up because they're a little dirty. The girls that work there are a bit catty but the guys were awesome. Definitely worth the money though.

The hostel has no character at all, with no decoration or atmosphere I would recommend you choose a different place. The Mattress in my room was uncomfortable, and I had a broken window so it was too noisy. There is not much nightlife around and there is not many rooms to socialize inside the hostel, just a tiny kitchen and dining room.

Very cheap and great location. However one bathroom per floor is not really enough.

It was generally speaking a pleasant stay: the hostel is clean, well-located, facilities are in good condition, etc. - Until the last moment. We were not fully reimbursed of our key deposit because we didn't check out at 11am, yet we were NEVER informed that this would happen if we check out late. Despite the mutual responsibilities, the attitude of the reception at the last moment was very unpleasant. Personally I wouldn't prefer losing two clients and positive reviews over 10 extra euros.

I could not get past the terrible sewer smell. There was mold growing on the walls. At one point, a member of te staff just went in to another person's room while someone was still sleeping. I do not recommend.

Good location with no many facilities. Good relation value for money. That´s all. Not so clean, the bathroom needs to be cleaned more often, so much poeple for one bathroom!

Olé was great! The South African woman who runs the show is super friendly and welcoming, always accommodated our every need and invited us to hang out with her. Quiet environment and just a block from Sagrada Familia and the metro stop, the location was fantastic, never a far ride wherever we wanted to go! Facilities always clean and available kitchen with fridge & appliances. Great experience -- when/if I return to Barça, I'll stay again!

We were staying for one night only so did not explore all facilities, but the location is great, staff is very helpful and friendly. The room and bathrooms were clean although in need of some renovation (the building is old). We were staying over in February and it was quite cold in the room but the blankets were warm enough not to freeze at night. Overall, a good value for little money if you are looking for an economy stay.

The staff were really friendly! Even down to helping us find a bar, late at night and entertaining our antics when we came back a good few hours later haha I originally went alone, but made friends with the other 5 girls in my room, from Korea, America and Argintina (im from the UK) and we all spent the evening together. Even got a card to get a more or less free dinner from the hostel. Brilliant place and worth another visit! didnt know about the cheeky €10 deposit for the key though

Ole Barcelona is a really great hostel for the money you pay of course. Atmosphere is awesome, staff is really helpful and friendly, everyone at the reception speaks english. I would say it's perfect, but there was one little thing wich wasn't too good, our room (3 person private) didn't have a door lock and was located next to laundry machine. But for us it wasn't a deal breaker, we came to hostel in night just to eat something and go to sleep. Location next to sagrada familia is great! Ciao!

The bathroom was in very bad shape, loose tiles on the floor and hurting your feet by those tiles. And there was no elevator, sleeping on the 7th floor with my 76-year old mom who is a hartpatient and has cara. She was not pleased walking the steps evey day!

I like this hostel, though a bit difficult to find at the first time coz there's no sign board in front of, only a small paper beside the bell door. But I like this place, which is nearby the most iconic feature in the town - La Sagrada Familia - and also some restaurants and shops.
