Olga was a great host and a great chef, and she took special care to ensure the doors were always locked and everything was safe and secure. Listvyanka and Iceland are the 2 best places I have seen on my trip around the world

The place is nice and so are the rooms, the breakfast is really generous. Olga is all smiley and offering tea the first day, then you can't get rid of the feeling that she doesn't want you to stay there anymore. We told her that we wanted a 3 nights stay, she checked and told us it was alright, then the second evening she presented us the bill. We left the day after and didn't stay the 3d night. She also put pressure on us to leave early in the morning while we were having breakfast.

Olga's guesthouse is very difficult to find because her instructions are outdated. The house itself is charming and exacly what we wanted. Olga is really friendly and makes great breakfast. She listens to her guests and tries to make their stay as good as possible. She s always there to give advise or to arrange a little trip. We loved our stay here!

Great guesthouse and the only place to stay in listvyanka... Olgas is a ten minute walk back from town along the shore. Take a right when you see the pepsi sign and its number 11. It is a beautiful log cabin surrounded by vegetable gardens. The house is warm and immaculate. Olga will serve you an incredible dinner with veggies from her garden for 400r. (well worth it). You will get an amazing breakfast and will be rejuvenated for the next leg of your journey. I met some great people here too..

Olga's guesthouse is an oasis of warmth and comfort in the desert of listless hotels of Listvyanka. Olga was very gracious and helpful all through our stay churning out enormous breakfasts; and a hearty dinner on one occasion. This guesthouse is a bit of a walk from the main pier where the information center and most of the action lies. Still its very close to a couple of great eating places, and you can always flag down a mashrutka to go to Listvyanka or to Irkutsk. Only pet peeve - no internet

Olga was very nice though sometimes I wasn't sure how she felt about her guests. It's a private house, clean and location is within walking distance from bus arrival. Olgas breakfast was excellent and well worth the money (it's included). I only stayed for one night.

Olga's breakfasts are things of legend, enough to fill you for the day! When we stayed we were the only guests and enjoyed our stay very much. We were free to come and go as we pleased, although no there was no wifi, we enjoyed the peace and quiet instead. The directions took a little while to decipher but from the bus station it's the third road on the right, immediately before the bridge. I would recommend Olga's to those who like a real homestay experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Olga's very welcoming, she offered us coffee and biscuits when we arrived and gave advice on where to go for a walk and a nice panoramic spot. The guesthouse is 100 meters away from the lake and set in a lovely street with wooden houses and beautiful gardens. Breakfast was very good and filling, with eggs, cheese, and homemade jam. I would certainly recommend this place!

The rooms don't lock and the front door was always unlocked but that is the nature of the area. Peaceful and rural. It was difficult to find the place as there is no sign - it is a home. The breakfast was very good - hearty and tasty and different each day. The only issue was the handgun sitting on the shelf by the back door and staff going nuts if you moved the bed, striped the bed or used the tap to get water! Screaming followed by pleasentness!

We had hard time finding the place, it's further than stated online, clearer ones need to be provided. Olga is a wonderful host and we'd recommend our stay to anyone.

The house is cosy and Olga does speak quite a view words of English, providing good information to orientate. Breakfast was incl. and nice. However, the rooms lack atmosphere, matresses are too soft and it was very cold the first night. Also, internet did not work and we had a massive argument, when she tried to charge the laundry price per kilo instead of a lump sum making it 600 RUBs suddenly, which seems simply rudicilous compared to 150 RUBs in Moscow, so whatch out to confirm.

It was a good stay at olgas, felt a little intrusive as we were the only guests despite her saying that on both nights the other two rooms would be filled. Breakfast first day was tea/coffee, porridge, bread and cheese and the next instead of porridge was crepes. Directions were ok but there is no white cafe anymore. If you get to a bridge you have gone too far but the road should be just to the right of the bridge. Had to do planning before we got on the train but she kept wanting us to go out.

Trying to find the place, a challenge. We had a cab from Irkutsk and even after a number of phone calls, our driver still had problems finding. Once there, Olga was great. Breakfasts were fantastic, a real homestay experience. Only issue was that, although they had WiFi, Olga wouldn't give us a password to access. Her son had done the installation and I don't think she understood how it worked and was worried about security. She needs to realise that in todays world WiFi for guests is important.

Very nice hostel!!! Olga is very kind and prepares lovely breakfasts! It's close to all sights. But, unfortunately it is a little difficult to find since the road signs in Listvyanka are quite hidden.
