Property Information:
On The Rock Hostel offers clean, comfortable and safe accomodation.We have dormitories and private rooms.
The majority of our rooms have a seaview and there is a large terrace to chill out and make further travel plans. Breakfast is included and eventually we will teach how to cook some traditional dishes from Bahia to our visitors.
The hostel is owned and mangaged by local Augusto and expat Thomas , experienced travellers, who are keen to help. They will love to show you the hidden corners and local favourites of Salvador. Portuguese,spanish, german, french and english is spoken.

If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival.

If you book between December 15th and March 15th you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable). This also applies if your booking is during a national holiday, New Year´s eve or Carnival.

Most pleasurable hostel I have stayed in. Sleep and awake to the crashing waves. Augosto and Thomas know Salvador, Bahia and are beyond helpful with any questions, or concerns you may have. Three story open air with an amazing deck to do yoga with Thomas, or explore the ocean front around the rocks,and relax on the Beach.Fatima makes a delicious breakfast and helps you with anything you may need.I will come back here again and recomend this hostel if your are traveling alone, or with a group.

Things to Note
Our hostel is not suitable for users of wheelchairs as we don´t have elevators.\r\nThere are no other restrictions, everybody is most welcome.\r\nIt´s worth to notice, that our hostel is in front of the sea, so there is a constant sound of waves clashing at the wall of the hostel.
