Rooms are very small and opening a window is not an option

Dirty toilets. Small kitchen. Not enough space in refrigerators. Room only had 2 electric sockets, that was on 1 hour timer. Looks nice at first glance, but is not a nice place.
Good location. Free breakfast was good (albeit simple). Secure keys were good but no lockers. "Free wifi" wasn't working when I was there, free computers downstairs but they were extremely slow. This made it difficult to plan, especially because wifi is not available in many cafes in Dunedin and library wifi was temperamental. Not much info on what to do (i-site nearby). Staff were a bit absent and busy with the bar downstairs. Kitchen was good and bathrooms were ok.
Comfy clean beds, great facilities (shower, kitchen etc), friendly staff. Thanks for the stay.
Stayed a week and really enjoyed it. The pool hall downstairs gives it a bit of character and it's something to do with the new mates you;ll meet in Dunedin. Really good location, only a two minute walk to the city centre, yet it's off the main street enough to be very quiet. Very clean. Good showers and never had to wait. Bathrooms are very stuffy during the day. Wifi is awful, but the library across the road has very fast and FREE wifi 24/7 which can be picked up from the kitchen.
Decent hostel, room was a little bare, with tiny high up windows, lovely lounge area and well located right near the centre of town.
