2 private rooms share one common area with kitchen, bathroom and a tv with dvd and a balcony (well, when you're on first floor). And since we were the only party staying there we basicly had it all for ourselves, so awesome! In the mornings the Chinese cleaning crew comes by and gives your place the propper rub. Beach in the very front of the hostel, "downtown" can be reached by car in 3-5 min. Internet 20mb/person for free, but quite limited range.

Great colourful hostel with good sized rooms. Good social vibe. Would defiantly stay there again! Shame about the internet issues (but told this is being updated)

Just a short walk from the main street where we found a small grocery store and lots of good restaurants. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. There were 6 of us so we booked out a little unit and had it all to ourselves :)

The hostel is very brightly coloured on the outside (not very nice in my opinion but I'm sure some people like it). The layout of the apartments is good. Each has a kitchen (weel equipped), a lounge and their own showers / toilets area. The internet is very weak and doesn't reach the rooms but there are sofas in reception. We were given one wifi code between us and when we asked for another one, we were told that it was one per booking, not per person. Little things would make a big difference.

I was very surprised as to how big the en-suite twin bedroom apartment actually was. The kitchen was fully equiped and everything was clean and working. However, I was surprised when a (drunk) couple entered the apartment well past 10pm and claimed they lived there as well. It turned out, that the seperate (locked) room next to the entrance was indeed their rented bedroom for the night. During booking I was given the impression that I had my privacy secured, which clearly was not the case...

We loved our stay at on the beach backpackers! Staff was very helpful and provided us with a lot of information about the city and the sightseeing activities! Free spades for the hot water beach! The room was very good and clean and every unit has it's own kitchen and living room!! I would defenitely go there again!

The location just opposite the beach was great and the fact that there were several lounges and kitchens was a bonus for socialising/cooking etc. Would be a bit far to walk to town if you didn't have a car though. Shared bathroom rather than ensuite and everything rather dated, bed not very comfortable
