The hostel was nice, but the people staying there and running it were not. Me and my friends wanted to meet people and go out with them but we were constantly being scolded for being to loud or noisy. This is not a hostel to stay in if you want to party. It is a hostel to stay in if you want a nice hotel but you dont want to pay for it.

This hostel has rooms at the 2nd floor and also at the 5th floor. My room was at the 2nd floor and I had the noise of the reception bell and also the noise of the air-conditioned engine. The shower wasn\'t very clean, the light didn\'t work in one of the toilets and there was not always paper. It appears that the 5th floor was newer and cleaner but I didn\'t check it by myself. If you have to stay there ask I would advice you to ask for a room at the 5th floor.

I am very glad I chose this hostel. I stayed there for 5 nights. The staff was very friendly and tried to help wherever they could. The hostel was cleaned every day. There was a females only bathroom with several showers and toilets (the toilets were really small) and one mixed bathroom with a toilet and shower which could be locked (and had a decent size). I always had hot showers bot in the female-only bathroom and also in the mixed one. The area is also very nice. Would go there again!

Small and comfortable. Good service, good location, and a very pleasant stay!

The wifi was unreliable at the best of times and the Internet on the computers was no better. The shared female bathrooms were cramped and there was no where to hang anything so showering was always a difficult task. The walk to La Ramblas was also a lot further than we anticipated, it was more like a 30min fast walk than 15mins.

i was there only one night, location is good, it was very clean, staff ok but problem is that the toilets and showers are in the same room, the door must be always open- so it is not possible to make your own' things ' in peace...for this i will not go there again

A very spacious hostel! Good use of space, you don´t feel crammed, everything was clean and the staff were very helpful. I only stayed for one night but would gladly have stayed longer!

A great hostel overall with the exception of three things: 1) the Wifi is slow 2) the showers are lukewarm at best in the mornings and 3) the bathroom stalls are so small that only a midget could comfortably use the toilets.

The hostel was pretty clean, the staff friendly and helpful. I enjoy my stay at Ona Barcelona. Only one thing: the toilet is quite small and it is very difficult to have your own privacy. But that\'s all.

Inviting place, and the rooms were nice and all, but the showers weren't the best. In fact, they were incredibly cold. The staff wasn't entirely friendly, but they did their job so can't complain. It's an okay place, but I wouldn't pick this place again if I had another choice.

This hostel is very much you get what you pay for. a bed and maybe a shower. Their hot water runs our frequently so you are often getting a luke warm shower at best. Their staff arnt very helpful and often contradict what the other says. We were told to do laundry in the am by one staff member then when we went to do laundry are told it couldnt be put in the dryer till after midnight? they also only have two toilets that leave about 6inches for leg room before theres a door.

It was a very cute and quiet hostel. A little hard to find when we first arrived since ther are no obvious signs, and some of the staff was not as friendly as they could have been. But it was very clean, with comfortable beds and hot showers. Kitchen was also nice and big!

Towels and lockers were not included in the private rooms - but this is not made clear on any websites or information which was a little misleading. Apart from that it was a lovely hostel to stay in!

- Cold water in the showers ... please try to improve that. - It's almost impossible to use the wc because of the lack of space between the sanitary and the doors ... please try to improve that too.

Good value for money and quiet

Really good hostel, wi-fi wasn't working well though. Definitely I'd come back here.

Nice and clean dorms, good kitchen, good location, quite close to a subway station. The bad thing though is that the showers are not so good depending on the time you use them. I had a REALLY ICE COLD shower on my first night there and a nice warm shower the other night. My friend though told me she had cold shower both days.

Cool place. Got to know different people every day from all over the world. Very friendly people and daily cleaned washing rooms.
