The receptionist was very rude and no interest in helping. We asked to use the luggage storage and she said there was none, later that day we noticed a big door saying luggage storage. She was more interested in making her lunch than assisting. Asked if we could do laundry she said return in 15 minutes. We returned in 10 to find her saying she was on a brake for 2 hours. Showers were filthy.beds horrible. Kitchen ok. But laundry machines in kitchen!! Over all just do not go there!!!

There isnt really a common area, the hostel is nice enough but I didn't get given any information or maps. Staff seemed a little bored.

Ona is really well situated roughly 6 blocks away from everything. You're out of the hustle of downtown Spain but close enough to get to it comfortably. If you're looking for a hostel that you want to spend more time in than exploring the Barcelona city, then perhaps you shouldn't stay here as the living areas - despite being equipped with enough to keep you going -- are mainly used for dinners and research by other travellers. The staff are great and try to be as helpful as possible. I loved it

very good location, better than the hostals near Las Ramblas because more quiet and in the middle of everything you might want to visit. we had a double room with shared bathroom with view on sagrada familia on the 5th floor. clean and luminous room. cheap ! recommendable

It was great to be there and please note that in case you are coming form Reus Airport (Using Ryanair) by direct bus, it does not go to the main Bus Stand but it will come to Metro station Girona. It is very easy than to go to his youth Hostel. Very clean with lot of toilets and nice kitchen and tv room

Clean, comfortable, well-located and affordable. The downside is the requirement to leave your key at the front desk before leaving and the need to be buzzed in to the 5th floor. A keycard system would be an improvement.
