the room i stayed in was really very small and had a step right at the entrance(not particularly safe when arriving late!) Location was close to an MRT and easy to find with a direct link to Airport. Not very quiet, as people next door were on their mobile at 11.30pm. Good points - clean - freindly staff -able to store bags there - air cond room - free internet. Bad points - 3pm check in ?? $50 key deposit Windowless room that opens onto so-called common room which kept us awake until1.30am then awake again at 7.30am No bathroom just a basin bolted to the wall in the common room,which is also the kitchen & dining room. far too noisy! Kids playing woke us up at 5 in the morning. Kitchen and bathroom clean but in the kitchen... Hard to go when they are having diner. We feel we were in their home and did not feel at ease with that. Think of bringing a cable as the Wifi was not working or had poor connectivity in the room. Think also of the key deposit when you change money. However good location: MRT station on the same line as Little India, Clarke Quay and Chinatown. Good mattress Superb fluffy cats :)far too noisy! was a really nice palce to stay. V. clean and quite. Brilliant for couples but abit quite if your travelling alone. v. close to the train station so easy to get everywhere. staff were really helpful and connie was a little bit cheeky. be aware of cats if your not a fan 2 quiet fluffy indoor ones. would definatly stay there everytime i went to Singaporewas a really nice palce to stay. We enjoyed our stay in this hostel, it's definitely a nice place to be, very simple and cozy, the cats are lovely and the lady who runs it is extremely nice. We have a not very good experience with a guy walking into our room in the middle of the night, but turned out that we didn't lock the room, so that's where it came from. Overall experience was good thoug and I would go and stay there again. Very close to MRT, which is extreme adventage. Rooms are cozy & beds are extremely comfortable. Showers are quite new, there is copious hot & cold water & the bathrooms & toilets are kept spotless all the time. Free coffee & tea. BIG BONUS - there is a computer in the lounger, & the internet is free! The aircon is fantastic when you get back from lots of sightseeing in the Singapore humidity, it kicks in really quickly. The hostel is fantastic for those wanting to get great facilities at cheaper prices than the city - highly recommended.Rooms are cozy & beds are extremely comfortable.
