One Step Independence Square Hostel Reviews

Spent two good nights at hostel. Location is very central but entrance tricky to find. Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Hostel quite small, but was clean, warm, enough showers, free wifi. No catering but several cafes/stores nearby. Small lockers available for free, ?how secure. Single rooms can be locked.

Some confusion as to my booking on arrival but other than that no complaints. Staff were very friendly and helpful and hostel was warm and comfortable.

Great little hostel, 5 minutes walk from Kreshatik Street. I doubt you can get better value in Kiev :)

Perfect location- right in the centre. Staff were really nice and helpful, we even got a box of chocolates when we left! The room was nice and big and the hostel was always clean. The common area was pretty small but this didnt matter much.

The hostel was very clean and with a nice interior. However, there are few things I did not like : the lack of common room, the big screen tv in our dorm, which transformed this room in a common room, the entryway door which was every time opened, even at 3 am. Anyway, I would recommend this hostel. The location is perfect and the bathrooms are really clean.

Very good location, not far from Independence square. Staff helpful. However cosy hostel and few bathrooms, don't expect a western hostel.

The stuff was excellent. >They speak german and english lanquage. They order anything for you (for instance taxi to airport, only for 25 €). You can use internet for free. The stuff makes with you a Pub crawl for free. They show you any places (Disco, Pubs, sight seeing places ...) for free. Unbelieveable! We come back! Stephan.

Amazing hostel, amazing location, amazing people. Just the best hostel I've ever been. really really good service, I even miss the service. Definitely a place to come back, which for sure,I will !!

Great location and fun staff and owners... Artur and Kristina will make sure your stay in Kiev is the best ever! The hostel is clean and cosy. Definitely a good place for the young.

Great location. Friendly reception staff. Only complaint - could do with more bathrooms/toilets, as there are not enough for the number of guests

Great place to stay, I'd recommend it to everyone. Staff was very helpful and rooms were clean. The only difficulty we had was sctually to find the hostel as it is in an appartment block. Just follow the instructions and pass the black metal gate. On the right wall you'll see the small name of the hostel handwritten by a black marker.

Hostel located in quiet building in center of Kiev, very close to main sightseeing points and metro lines. Clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything from towels to needles. Hostels owners are kind and staff is friendly and willing to help. High rate.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, filled with other cool travellers and the staff made sure everyone was having an awesome time. The greatest thing (in addition to nice and clean room and excellent location) is its friendly atmosphere.I’ll definitely be back to this hostel next time I’m in Kiev!

very nice place with great location, very clean and with very nice staff. the only bad thing is that there is no kitchen....in a hostel...i think its a important thing.

Location of the hostel is it's best side, nearby you can find everything you want. Rooms is pretty good too, but (in my opinion) there is certain lack of indoor fun, so you'd better spend your evening somewhere in center of the city)) All in all, book this hostel, but think over your entertainment there
