our stay at oops hostel was unpleasant ! our reservation at oops hostel was cancelled by their own mistake , so we had to spend our night at a room without water, in which the sheets and the blankets were very dirty! Unfortunatelly the people who was in charge was missing for the whole weekend so we had to face our problem with the staff which was rude ! if you re thinking to visit Paris Dont you dare to spend your nights over there ! :D

WiFi was terrible. Hardly worked on personal devices or even on their computers. No refrigerator for guests. Clean and easy access to metro/bus. No lockers in rooms

i don't know what others think... but i was fully satisfied. I stayed there for 2 nights.... only the nights because a was walking around Paris all day... what i needed was a bed, a clean bathroom and light breakfast... I had them all. Nice rooms, a little small but ok, 24h reception, easygoing staff who knew well English, nice location... I would recommended it, although you can find cheaper hostels (of unknown quality), and i would visit it again if need it...

Got to our room to find that our beds still had the dirty linen on the beds & there was rubbish everywhere. We requested a cleaner, only to be told by the very rude guy that there was nothing he could do & that we would have to change the beds ourselves. Not even an apology! During our stay the cleaners did nothing but take off dirty linen - despite the lockout time of 5 hours for cleaning! We even collected the rubbish into a pile & it never got moved!

This was my very first experience staying in a hostel and it was great! Oops came recommended to me by a friend, and I was happy with how clean it was, the location and the helpfulness of their staff. The computers and the Internet didn't work very well, but it was nice that it was free. I would stay here again!

There were no lockers in the room i stayed. Every hostel should at least have under bed cage lockers. The location is good, in the Latin Quarter and right near two metro stations. Space is at a premium as a result though. The rooms are very small. The bunk beds are extremely flimsy with no ladder. The hostel is new and well decorated but there is no chill out area, just the dining area. The room I was in had a view to the Eiffel Tower which was a nice bonus.

I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom's cleanliness. Thelocation isn't bad either, as it takes about 30 min to get to the main tourist area. However, if I hadn't already paid for the second night, I would have left after the first because of the super snobby receptionists. While I wasn't exactly warmly received up check-in, I later watched how they treated an older woman. After noting that the reception seemed to be hell bent on making her feel stupid, I offered to wake her at 5:45 am. :s

The staff are quite rude. Especially note not to interrupt them whilst on Facebook. There are no lockers in the room so if you are parinoid about safety bring own locks. It is near two metros & located in a nice area with pleanty of restraunts and a supermarket across the road. The kitchen, however, is locked up and guests are only permited to use the microwave. There are no utensils either, as Paris is an expensive city eating in once in a while would be handy.

Oops was a great hostel. Breakfast was delicious and helpful to get out of bed and start the day early because it was from 7h30 to 9h30. The rooms were nice. We originally thought we were going to stay in an 8 bed dorm, and we got placed in a 4 bed dorm with a bathroom ensuite. The people staying there were all very nice. The staff was helpful and overall hospitable. The only downside was the lock out due to cleaning from 11h00 to 16h00. Although, heres a secret they don't check.

The hostel is nice, close to a big metro station, and it was clean! =) Don't put your luggage in the luggage room too early otherwise you will need to dig it from a mountain of bags....

We checked in at 9.30pm,left our lugagge and went out. When we got back we realised we had no blankets. The hostel seemed to lack organisation (they didn`t use the computer for the reservations, everything was written down in a big book ¿?).We made a reservation for a room of 4 beds, they gave us a room of 6 beds. When we complained they said the hostel was full and that the price was the same...they why do they give one the option to choose if they end up giving you any room? Breakfast OK!

On arrival we could have had our rooms already cleaned and ready to go in. We had to wait a bit for our room. Our linen could have been cleaned prior to our arrival, we had human hairs all over our bed sheets and discussed with receptiond if they could clean our sheets, but that did not happen. This is the only concern we had in our room. My boyfriend and I were very happy with the environment the free breakfast was good and friendly staff.

Although it is a hostel that doesn't mean that the pillows have to be dirty. It would be nice if they provided pillowcases, as the only way to avoid putting your head on dirty pillows is to put the sheet over the pillow. Also, I think it is outrages that they do not provide towels, but you have to rent them. This would be fine if they did not charge 34 EUR per person per room... i.e. bed. So, I guess the only positive thing is the location of the hostel.
