Good hostel, secure, safe. The staff is helpful and pleasant. One block away from metro. Neighborhood has cheap food at night. Overall a good, clean, and comfortable pace to stay.

Second best hostel in Paris, only mins from the best eating in Paris rue Moufftard. Staff help-full rooms & showers a delight, as homely as you can get. clean, clean, clean.

I expected a little more from Oops. It was marketed as a design hostel, however I found that to be a bit of a gimmick. Yes, the walls had cool wallpaper and paint, but there were quite a few chips and cracks in the walls that needed repairing.. It wasn't quite as clean as I expected, although it was still adequate. Charging 3 Euro for a towel when the rates are already quite high is too much. However it was a safe and relatively comfortable private room for a solo traveller.

Excellent design! The en-suite bathrooms look and feel like a hotel's! Nice pastries waiting for you in the reception and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Overall Oops was fine. We stayed in a 4 person mixed ensuite, but we found it to be quite small and the beds were so rickety. The location was great, super close to the metro, grocery store, bank, pharmacy or whatever you needed. The staff wasn't the friendliest but it was pretty easy to get around Paris on our own. Probably wouldn't stay here again though.

The room was very small with pretty much no where to put backpacks. I was in a four bed dorm (I was one Aussie girl in a room with three guys!) The room and the ensuite bathroom looked nothing like the pictures on the net - lots of mould in the bathroom and no air vent to let out the steam. No towel provided. Have to be out of the room between 11am and 4pm so do not expect to recover from jet lag if you've just landed. Close to metro (40 m walk away)and close to all amenities and brasseries.

Nice rooms in design and cleanliness but too small and without lockers to put personal things. The security appears to be poor also during my stay some luggage disappears from the luggage room and the staff doesnt seem to care about it.

I liked most things about the hostel, they are in general good for their word. The building is new, there is free wifi in the lobby, there is room to take breakfast which is included and good enough. However, someone got into the room I stayed and stole the bag of a Canadian kid that was staying there along with his laptop. The staff were helpful and provided security camera videos, also the police was contacted. I don't know if the room was left open or if the thief had access to the key.

I highly recommend this hostel for couples. I traveled with my boyfriend and we chose a an ensuite double-room. It was very confortable, clean, the bathroom was big, and the room had air-conditioning! The location is not perfect but you can get everywhere by metro or bus.

Nice hostel, good location, and it has air con and a free breakfast. Dorm room and bathroom were fine, and the staff were friendly. Price probably seems a little high compared to most hostels, but then this one's in central Paris. Two metro stations a couple of minutes walk either direction, so it's a really short metro trip into the main sights. It's not that far to walk either. I walked via the beautiful jardins du luxembourg, and it can't have taken more than 45 minutes to get to Notre Dame.

Would be good if the rooms had lockers in them.

The only bad thing about this hostel is that the luggage room is small and not safe: in fact, it's over-flowing and open to anyone during the day (the strap off my bag came undone by leaving it there). This said, the hostel is new, clean and cheap and staff were friendly so I'd definitely recommend it and stay there again.
