Open Guest House Reviews

This is my 3rd time staying in Open Guest House since 2010, 2011 and 2012. I love to stay here although have been offer to stay in other hostel. Open Guest house location is great, walking distance to MRT subway line 4, a major link to Seoul city, Myeong dong, Insadong, Gyengbok Palace and N tower. although there are chances on this hostel in pass 3 year, is still a highly recommend place to stay, morning staff friendless need to improve. Owner Danny and wife is great person to serve from heart.

good price and a good stay, though these rooms can be a bit noisy even if you stay in a private double. There is no stove in the kitchen, which is a pretty big downside for economic long-term stays. 3 minutes walking distance from the subway which only takes a few stops before you hit downtown. WIFI in all the rooms and two free pcs for access. The laundry is done by service on certain days and can be a bit slow. Other than that, it was a relatively comfertable visit.

Nice atmosphere and really laid back. We felt very safe and secure. The staff were immensely friendly and helpful, and most importantly not overbearing. We were really touched that on the last day the owner went out of his way to call us a taxi and help us get our suitcases into it! So sweet! We thought the location was great too - not central to Seoul nightlife, but close enough to a subway stop that it didn't matter! We also really appreciated that our room was very warm and comfortable! :D
