Great location, and the private room I had was super nice and clean. The staff didn't speak much English, so weren't very helpful to me. It wasn't the friendliest hostel I've ever been in.
Really good location, nearby the Opera. The girl at the reception wasn´t helpful nor knew the city well enough to advice us where to go/what to see... The atmosphere wasn´t the best as instead of tourists, there were working people staying instead.
So rarely do hostels get everything right but these guys do. If you're coming to Odessa, stay here!
Opera Hostel is an fine hostel with a dynamic staff and an excellent location in Odessa. Facilities are contemporary and clean. The problem is that space is too cramped for the number of guests. The 8 person dorm has only a narrow aisle between the 2 rows of beds and no extra space for backpacks, moving about, etc. The common space is only the kitchen area, no lounge. And the bathrooms are too tight without adequate size sinks or showers or adequate floor space needed in a bathroom.
Perfect location, near to all main attractions. Friendly staff.
Very new hostel with high quality facilities. Problem of this hostel is that it is by far too crowded. No space to relax, not enough bathrooms. Everything is completely functional but not cozy. Recommendable for people simply wanting a place to sleep, not recommendable for people wanting a pleasant hostel experience.
Staff unfriendly, don't speak English. Cramped conditions. wouldn't go back.
the best place in odessa, everthing is perfect, and anna is so lovely...i arrive one night before, and the hostel was completely full, and she give a place to sleep... thank you again anna, his satff also. i 'll be back karim
New hostel in central Odessa, very close to the famous opera house. My room was small, but the bed was comfy and the bathrooms very clean. The owner cooked soup for everyone on Independence Day. Great! Unfortunately, the common room has no window and the light is kind of cold. Anyway, I would stay there again and the city is wonderful in Summer!
Absolutely brilliant location right close to all main sights and city center. Anja, the owner, is super nice and willing to help you with any possible questions. Highly recommended.
New and clean hostel in the center of Odessa, on a very nice and cosy street with many restaurants and cafe's. Rooms are a bit dark but the beds are very nice and there are free lockers. Also doing laundry is free. Staff was very helpful and nice: they gave us information about sights and activities and called a taxi for us every day. But if you just want to go to the beach, this hostel might be a little far from the beaches (30 minute walk or 20 minutes bus bus/tram). I would stay here again!
I highly recommend this place. Fantastic location, great price, laundry included, accommodating staff.
Nice new hostel with comfy beds, pretty clean and all the facilities you need (and AC). Kind of quiet since it's new though. The staff seemed ok, most of them do not speak english, which makes it kind of hard to ask questions, but they always figure a way out to answer you anyways! Good value for money.
