Invictus truly is victorious in creating a perfect hostel. Very very clean, large comfortable dorms, great staff. Be sure to join Anna for the best walking tour of Oporto, and a Pub Crawl that truly can't be beat. Thank you for such a great stay and experience on my first stop in Portugal

Very nice hostel with a great decor. The only problem I had with it was the narrow doorway and steep stairs... if you have lots of baggage it is a bit of a pain.

Lovely building, nice place, good location. Was a bit noisy though, could have done without the three German girls singing and giggling in the "living room" till one in the morning. Generally you can hear pretty much everything that's going on and everyone moving around in the house and slamming doors.

If you stay at this hostel you should plan on either partying or not getting pissed at the partiers that will come into your room at 5am. It's a cool building, especially the main room, but it's in kind of a sketchy area and not all that close to the metro. The staff are very outgoing and charismatic, and party right along with the guests. My stay wasn't the best because I was woken up by a girl telling me I was in her bed, then had my sheet stripped off me bye a late nighter. But it's cool

I really enjoyed my stay at Oporto Invictus. The staff was awesome. They definitely made my stay in Porto. The hostel looks a bit sketch from the outside but the inside is soooo nice. The rooms are really clean and bright and they have beautiful balconies.

I have never stayed in such a hostel. I found there really friendly staff, who was always able to help, talk to and laugh with. Even if it rained outside, we could be in a living room with other guests and play chess. Really tasty breakfast and which is served in a cosy kitchen.

An excellent hostel! Felt so welcome, it was like living in my own home surrounded by friends. As a solo traveller, I met some great people, and the staff at the hostel went out of their way to make sure everyone got the most out of their stay... Taking us out on pub crawls, joining us for dinners and providing the best information about the city. If I return to Porto, I will definitely be staying here. Matt from Australia.

it was very nice. it seemed we were in a big house with friends living together, and not properly a hostel. this is why the atmosphere is so relaxing.
