The hostel was good, we enjoyed our stay very much. We had a chance to experience two stars hotel at the Porto squere and we were really disgusted!!! So Oporto Invictus is really good choice, even in comparison with hotels. The only problem was that the street isn´t written in turistic maps and we weren´t able to find the street without internet.

Good Hostel, Nothing too Special but it was 9EUR a night so I;m not really going to complain; Hot showers, free breaky ( although nothing great), location was pretty good and met some nice people.

This is a great hostel. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. 24 hr reception. Small lockers in each room. Breakfast is good and ample. The location is fantastic, too. It's just down the street from some great bars, a theater, big monuments and the old town. If I return to Porto, I will definitely stay here again.

Charming hostel with wonderfully polite, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and multilingual staff! Very comfortable bed, but there was one major problem: the bar below the hostel is REALLY loud. Guests sensitive to noise should request to stay on the second or third floors, NOT the first!!!

My stay at Oporto Invictus Hostel was excellent. The staff was incredible and assisted me with everything from booking a shuttle to the airport to going to supermarkets. The kitchen was superb; very up to date and breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hostel. Comfortable environment and the staff keeps it really clean. Only thing was that the shower was sometimes cold, but rarely. Overall this has been my favorite hostel and I thank Invictus for a great stay! P.S. loved the walking tour!

I strongly recommend you to stay in Oporto Invictus Hostel if you go to Porto. The staffs are really helpful, kind. Just one thing that I need to mention is the direction was a bit tricky when I first arrived at the bus terminal from Lisbon. Because there was no info about the direction from there. But the hostel was cozy, more valuable thanthe cost!

Overall I really liked this hostel. The common area is comfortable. The room was very nice , lots of room to spread out. There didnt seem to be too many people staying when i was there so i didnt meet anyone but Oporto was one of my fav cities so I enjoyed it alone.

It is a relatively small, cozy hostel very near to Aliados. Staff is perfect, with one word. Joao and Gi are helpful, lively, talkative and sincere people with whom I will always try to keep contact. And don't be surprised if you see the owner cleaning the floors! Our room was on the top floor with a lot of sun and air inside. The entrance and the living room of the hostel are very stylish in design. The points that are sufficient but better if improved are breakfast quality and laundry service.

Definitely recommendable! The hostel is close to everything and cozy, and for the very low price you pay for a dorm bed you get everything you need: kitchen, big living room, clean dorms and bathrooms, lockers, computer for Internet researches, relaxed atmosphere.

What I liked the most was the atmosphere! Every single member from the staff was really kind and ready to help you at anything. I also liked that it is not one of those really big hostels were everybody remains anonymous, that caused a much more familiar atmosphere.
