Very friendly staff! The fado tour was great.

Liked the interesting jams, but the milk for breakfast wasn't good anymore or has a really, really strange taste in general. Though, great hostel!

Even though the breakfast room was clean and beautiful, the breakfast was a bit meagre, and the milk was sour on both mornings. But the whole atmosphere at the hostel was excellent, mostly friendly staff and very pretty rooms and view.

Excellent hostel and very friendly and helpful staff, will definately return and recommend..... and going to look at Lisbon Poets hostel too! One negative..... in a 6 dorm, very tight space with a low ceiling, not enough room for a chair between the bunks....Would be stifling on a hot night....... should be a room for 4 at the most, but ver beautiful with own bathroom and opening out on a terrace with stunning view and breakfast table under the umberella..... 5 star hostel!

We really really enjoyed Porto and had a wonderful time at the poets hostel. superfriendly staff and beautiful housing! i can definitly recommend it.

Very nice hostel in the old town quarter of Porto - it's a bit exhausting to walk up the steep street from the Metrostation to the Poets Hostel, but you get rewarded with a great view over the city! Stuff is very friendly, we can really recommend to join one of the daily dinners (not expensive and really tasty). Friendly, spacious and bright rooms; comfortable common room and patio; only things not so perfect are the kitchen (not so very clean) and the breakfast is very simple.

Great experience; beautiful location! Thanks for the extra blankets (it can get quite chilly in Porto), for printing out my boarding pass and pointing out the great Forro evening. We had a wonderful time! Martine

Porto Poets hostel is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. It's clean and nice and the staff is always cheerful and kind.The room was big and with a great view of the city. Excellent breakfast with fresh homemade jams and cake. It's situated in a beautiful area of the city and close to almost everything you must see once in Porto.

We had very great time in Poet's Hostel! Porto is an awesome city and this hostel is the best located in my opinion. Staff is really nice and helpful and the view from the windows (Porto by night) is breathtaking! Breakfast was really good and the open garden where you can eat is really striking for the view and the atmosphere. Whenever I'll be back in Porto I'll come again in Poet's Hostel for sure. Strongly suggested!

This place was one of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed at. It was quiet but also had a lot of activities available. My room had an incredible view of the entire city. I would recommend this place to anyone.

You can be sure that I'm telling everybody here at home about the Poets. I certainly will come back. It's hard to find a second place like your hostel and I hope you are able to continue the way you run it. Just one thing: where is the poetry in the Poets Hostel? Maybe you can provide the rooms with some volumes? I would have liked to read some Mishima-Verses. Best wishes!

Marvelous long Xmas weekend in a sunny Porto ; ) Stay in one of the most romantic double room of the hostel (probably!) It felt very much like home in the house and garden... Smily and super welcoming staff, special thanks to Maja and Henrique for the unique Xmas eve dinner ; )

The staff was super nice! We loved every moment we stayed. Rooms and garden were great and living room was our favorite. I strongly recommend this hostel to eveyone.
