The place is very well located (close to Hollywood Blvd and Kodak Theater) and has a lot of character. The guy that help me during check in was very nice, so was the Polish girl working there. But first they put me in a wrong room, with unclean bathroom. After complaining I was transfered me to the room I booked, but that had VERY unclean bathroom (hair/nose bugs) and the room was very noisy. I could hear the other rooms, the bathroom outside my room, people upstairs. I left next morning.

All was good except that the room smelled old and moldy, and didn't feel very clean.

Very convenient location, 3-5mins walk to Hollywood walk of fame and Chinese theater - free wireless even in rooms not just in common areas - good value for money - only issue is very small bathroom/ toilets in private rooms, but if its for few days you'll survive - if you're staying in LA stay in Hollywood because all tours starts in this area and all attractions are nearby as well, there's absolutely nothing to do in main Los Angles city and its just so boring in that part of LA.

Perfect location. Friendly staff, easy parking. Some noise from other rooms but no big issue. Definitely recommend.

This hostel has no atmosphere whatsoever. Everyone keeps to themself and the staff encourages that by being mostly invisible

Change the oatmeal brand and/or add more free breakfast options. The oatmeal really didn't have any flavor. Other than that, I was pleased with mainly everything.

Great location, 2 min walk to Chinese theatre on Walk of Fame. Our private room (shard b/room) was spacious.

Great location - a stone's throw from Walk of Fame and Kodak Theatre. Great in most ways, but not so well suited to meeting people and need to have more events, i.e. bar crawls, etc. Otherwise very happy with all.

The room got really hot at night and there was no airconditioning or fan. This was in November, I wouldn't dare rent a room in the summer.

Not a very special place, but the location can't be beaten, it is right behind the Chinese theatre!

This hostel is all about the location - right around the corner from the Kodak Theatre, Chinese Theatre, Hollywood walk of fame and the Highland metro stop providing easy access to Universal Studios. The staff were great - very welcoming and friendly. Definitely, the best value for money if you want to see Hollywood in a couple of days.

It may be not the cheapest Hostel and for sure not the newest one. The 'breakfast' might not be existend, the walls are pretty thin and the bathrooms are as old as the house. But for this location it's def the best deal you can get. You get to all the hotspots in about 1 to 25min by car, there are lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood, two movie theaters, a bowling place, shisha bars,.. If you don't expect a lot and the only thing you want to do in the Hostel is sleeping it's good enough.

We stayed in private room, private bathroom so this may make things a bit better, but still this is one of the best hostels in my experience. It gives everythig I need - perfect location, quiet, clean, parking place (add $10). Our room had cloakroom which was very nice. They only thing can be better - breakfast is not complimentary. For $5 I didn't give it a try.

This place has a fantastic location, it's just off Hollywood Blvd!! If u wanna go Downtown or to the beaches, just take the metro or the bus which stops are just a min's walking away. Be aware tho, their breakfast is cereals (bring your own milk!), u have to pay for wi-fi, and they have no air-con so it can get quite hot in your room. Also u'll need your time to get used to their beds since the matresses are kinda wrapped in a plastic coating. The walls are paper thin.
