The only issue was that the bath mats needed to be washed more often consider the amount of people who use the showers. Other that that i absolutely loved the place, the location was excellent, the staff were amazing and helpful and the hotel was clean and safe. Next time we stay in Hollywood we are definately staying there again.

a really cool hostel in a great location. We had a double with shared facilities: There are a lot so no hustle if house is full. We had a lovely room and staff was friendly and welcome. I would definetly stay there again!!!

Staff was too unkind and they looked they cared only money not customer's convenience.

The hostel was in a great position so close to Hollywood Blvd. The staff were very helpful when we had questions or needed information. The only problem we had during our stay was the noise during the early hours of the morning when some of the other occupants were partying.

Very charming Hostel in a great location. Loved the Runyon Canyon right down the street. Best views of LA. This hostel is very quiet and was just what I needed.

Having not stayed in hostels before i didnt know what to expect. I was travelling with 4 other guys and were only staying 2 nights, We found the hostel adequate for what we wanted as we were just passing through LA. It appeared a bit tired and run down but is in a fantastic location for touring LA and the price was good as we just wanted a place to get our heads down.

Beautiful, 'vintage style' house, really is only a 2 minute walk from the buzz of Hollywood Boulevard, cheap to egt to from the airport as well. Helpful staff, I loved this place!

Very clean, quiet hostel in a good location. Only complaint: what´s with the 10:00 am check out time??? The guy at the front desk told us they were flexible with the check out date, but then the next morning we got woken up by a loud knock on the door and were kicked out 15 minutes later.

The best thing about this Hostel is its position literally just a couple of minutes walk to Hollywood Bvd. Staff very pleasant and helpful. A little pricey though but it was worth it for the convenience.

We booked a two-night stay at The Orange Drive Manor Hostel after changing our plans last minute. For a private room with a double-bed, this hostel had a very affordable rate of $68 per night. The room we got was sparse but spacious, and with an automatic lock on the door everything felt very safe. The hostel itself is huge, clean, and quiet.

Really handy location for visiting the Hollywood sights and it was much cheaper than hotels nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

No free Wi-fi!!! You had to pay $5 for the duration of your stay (expensive)! The free breakfast is poor - just oatmeal, and not even the microwave-able kind! The staff was not there at the counter to let us in when we arrived. When they are there, they are usually friendly. They charge security deposit of $50 in cash for the keys. When you enter the room, there's a long list of rules on the back of the door. Check-out seems too early at 10am (5$ for later check-outs). Showers spray weirdly.

The whole place was not very bright, a little gloomy, kitchen too small, TV room too small. no lockers in the room, no free internet. The beds were very noisy, kept me awake. Close to Hollywood Blvd, good location, close to metro (good), felt pretty safe and it was pretty clean.

The orange manor drive hostel is in a great location for you to visit the main part of Hollywood blvd. Its moments away from the Kodak theatre. Its also easy to get to Universal city and Universal studios via the metro which is about 5 mins walk away. There is a supermarket and post office near by. Staff were friendly and i think most of the staff lived at the hostel themselves. Showers and bathrooms were clean. We stayed in a private double which was spacious and had a heater which was great.

Great place to stay RIGHT in Hollywood. Parking lot in the back if you have a car. We had a private room. Cannot get a cheaper room in this area for sure! Nice helpful staff. In a quiet street with trees. Really liked it!

Great old building in a superb location. Just round the corner from the heart of Hollywood, yet surprisingly quiet. Pleasant staff, recommended.

The place is very well located (close to Hollywood Blvd and Kodak Theater) and has a lot of character. The guy that help me during check in was very nice, so was the Polish girl working there. But first they put me in a wrong room, with unclean bathroom. After complaining I was transfered me to the room I booked, but that had VERY unclean bathroom (hair/nose bugs) and the room was very noisy. I could hear the other rooms, the bathroom outside my room, people upstairs. I left next morning.
