I was not pleased that I was charged an extra $20 upfront which was not mentioned on the website. Overall, I cannot complain as the total cost of staying there for the weekend was pretty decent. The other reservation was that I was charged for Sunday night, when I was not planning to stay until sunday afternoon. Otherwise, I was fortunate to find decent roommates who were respectful of my belongings. It took a bit long to wait for the men's shower so I had to use the one upstairs.

The hostel has a very nice atmosphere, it´s like staying at your grandma´s. The rooms are nice, but the shared bathroom is very small. Anyway the location right next to the Dolby Theatre and Hollywood Boulevard is great. I would totally recommend this hostel to my friends.

Very nice hostel close to the Hollywood Boulevard. We stayed here twice and enjoyed both our stays. Even though it's really close to the main tourist area, it's relatively quiet. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and the free Internet worked great. Only thing we found a bit weird was that you had to pay 2$ to rent a towel.

Great little place, clean, comfortable and great value for its Hollywood location. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and happily accommodated our early check in when we were badly jetlagged.

I really liked the hostel it had a calm but good atmosphere, things felt not to loud but company was never far away, with some great people staying as well as the staff who were all really good and I liked them all. Some of the facilities like lack of laundry was not so good, and the internet was also not good even though there in a pay in machine. My email accounts didn' work properly on it. However these things were not every thing and the location was good and over all would give it 9/10

Excellent location! Just a block from Kodak theater, walk of fame! Friendly staff ! The nice lady in the front desk lead us up and down stairs to let us choose the room and introduce the history of this lovely inn. I just found out this lovely hostel has once provided as a lovely home to some famous actors and actress like Marilyn Monroe! And the room is quite clean and comfortable. The only problem is the heater. It is quite old that it seems it couldn't change temperature and had a bit smell.

No power point in the bathroom, and 4 beds, yet only 1 towel hook.

Excellent location and helpful staff - they were very accommodating with my requests for dropping off my key for check-out early. Parking is also available onsite for only $5!

Great location, 2 minutes walk from Hollywood boulevard but set back enough to avoid the noise. Very good kitchen facilities, but tended to get our own breakfast from the supermarket that was less than 5 minutes walk away. Everybody was very friendly, good hostel for meeting people and getting advice about the area. Our room had no plugs but there were plenty in the common room and other rooms had them. Overall, a good hostel, in fact we are returning on our way back through L.A!
