Very friendly staff and top location. However the hostel lacks a convenient space for socialising and hence I found it difficult to meet people. Though my fee was waived by Kevin, a great gesture, charging for towel and internet use puts the hostel on the backfoot immediately. Including the fee for all would appear better in my opinion. Similarly, in not making the bed for visitors the hostel is a step behind the competition - minor but noticeable. Despite this, had a top time.

The staff was really nice and gentle. The location was excellent, 1 minute walk from the chinese theater.

It's more of a hotel than a hostel but not necessarily in a good way. There was no real common area. Kitchen was tiny and breakfast was oats and hot water. There was no luggage storage, we had to leave our bags at the reception. The general feeling seemed unwelcoming mainly because of the rules posted everywhere on the walls like no using facilities after the check out and charging extra for late check out (even 5 minutes). On the upside staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had a very comfortable time. Very relaxing considering that it is so close to so much action.
