I enjoyed my stay at orange hostel. The bedroom has enough room for every person and the lockers beneath the beds are very handy. The main drawback of this hostel is the number of toilets / showers / sinks : only 4 for the whole hostel. Also there are only two heating spots to cook and they are broken. The staff is friendly, especially with the boys. They told us ( three girls) to keep the volume down once but then went yelling and laughing to hit on boys. That was the only weird thing.

Loved the place. Moderately close to both the Old town and Kazimierz Jewish Town (both within walking distance). Comfortable bed, good facilities in kitchen and common room. Staff are helpful and friendly. Overall very nice experience. Just don't lose your key to the locker like I did. Note: The hostel is up 3 flights of stairs and without a lift. Should not be problem for even average fit people.

Although the entry from the street and the stairs look a little scary, the inside is nice (be aware that it is at the third floor). The locker was almost broken. The staff was nice, but when I needed help for buying a train ticket in a Polish website, they did it regretfully and I ended up doing the last steps by myself. I recommend it anyway, especially for travelling alone, there were plenty of backpackers and hitchhikers willing to talk and hang out in the kitchen.

Very friendly staff! Unfortunately that was the only highlight of the hostel. Pretty run down, our room was clean but the bathrooms were awful. Cannot change the temperature on the showers so having a boiling hot shower in 36C heat was awful! No windows in the shower block made the entire experience of going to the bathroom hot and unpleasant.

It's was 36 degree heat, no air con, no fan, no nothing. This you can accept when you pay for a cheap hostel but the fact that there was no cold water in the bathroom and I needed to take a boiling hot - literally couldn't stand on it - shower when I would of preferred no hot water is ridiculous. The shower is a push button so you have to keep pushing it every 15 seconds or the shower turns off. No where does it state it's in a building of flats up 100 stairs with no lift.

staff helped where they could. lockers and locks were provided to store bags in. good location in the middle of jewish area and city centre. showers were piping hot which was horrible cause its summer so it was already hot in the hostel with no air conditioning...

it'll be lovely when it's finished, also needs better signing- we walked past it twice before we spotted the single sheet of A4 taped to the door and beyond that there's nothing to tell you the hostel is 4 floors up.

Wifi didnt reach rooms, making it very inconvenient. Good facilities otherwise

The place is so friendly, coffee every morning, nice and clean kitchen, washing machine and all you need.the staff is just perfect: the ladies are very helpful and smiling.

We stayed in the twin bed room which was on another floor than the reception, so we didn't really grasp the atmosphere of the hostel. The room was a bit overpriced considering the condition, just two beds in a poorly cleaned room. However, location is excellent, just next to kazimierz, which was the reason we picked it in the first place.

Nice clean room with lockers underneath the bed for storage, wifi works fine and the bathrooms are never overcrowded. My only complaint was the small kitchen was an absolute disaster, dishes piled in the sink, food all over the floor and crumbs on every table surface. Atmosphere was odd, not a lot of mixing between traveling groups. Ok value for money though, and beds are comfortable enough

Its a few blocks from city centre, room was a little bit too noisy(i mean outside noise from the street) and too bright. We were in summer and 5am was totally daylight. We were at the 4th floor and there is a good fridge and coffee maker but not cooker, you need to go downstairs if you want to cook.

Rooms were beautiful, bathrooms were good, location was good. The actual hostel is on the 3rd floor of a building that is currently under constructions, so look out for a sign out front of the building. Staff was very friendly, minus one girl that was a little rude but I didn't take it personally. We were in a 6 bed female dorm, and one night we had it to ourselves which was nice. You can also book through them for an Auschwitz tour, and a bus will pick you up right out front.

We stayed in the "studio" room (double bed, private bathroom). The room itself was huge, clean, and had a great view. The bed was comfortable and there was even a little kitchen area with a table and electric kettle. We didn't spend too much time in the rest of the hostel, but it also looked nice. The staff were all very helpful and I would stay here again. The only negative was that office workers who share the building (not from the hostel) often smoke in the stairway.

Not a particularly well-maintained hostel. The washrooms are dirty and a lot of things are broken, including the Wifi if you stay on the second floor. However, it's certainly viable if all you need are hots and a cot for a low price. And security is very good, with lockers (key provided) and a luggage storage room monitored by staff (still recommend keeping true necessities with you as there is no luggage tag system).

It was helpful that there was free wifi and a computer for guests to use. I would appreciate better holders for the shower heads in the bathrooms.
