About Orange Inn
For just night-life lovers, Orange Inn might not be a good option because it is not necessarily close to night-spot in Kyoto.
But, it is very good access from Kyoto Station and to many tourist attractions, such as Kinkakuji-Temple, Ryoanji-Temple, Kiyomizudera-Temple and so on. Also, English and Chinese spoken owner will support planning your travel not only in Kyoto but also all over Japan.
So, excluding just night-life lovers, Orange Inn would be very good option especially among ordinary travelers, who would like to experience traditional and cultural flavour in Kyoto and Japan.
Facilities inside is well-equipped, such as air-conditioning system in many rooms and a guest kitchen for the person who would like to cook and so on, and also very clean. Also, there is a common room where you can watch British and American comedy videos, such as 'Friends', and 'Only Fool and Horses'.
New Patio is now open on the top floor, where you will be able to enjoy good scenery and a pint of beer, until 9 pm, and if you are not too noisy, until 11pm.
You can select from three types of bed space, men-only, women-only and mixed for group. based on your demand.
Neighboring facilities are also very good for you. There are some convinience stores, a supermarket, and some cheap cafes and restaurants. So by staying here, you can spend as little as possible. Also, there is a coin loundry nearby.
Also, by obtaining a special support from neighboring restaurant, we can offer you a Kyoto cuisine with very reasonaable price (2,000 yen per person). It is no way to miss it if you stay in Kyoto.
This hostel is no smoking, so if you want, please go outside and smoke. Also, we accept cash only and do not accept credit card.
Check-in time is between 2pm and 9pm and after that receptiuon willl be closed. So if you might be a late arrival, please cotact with front desk. Otherwise, we regard tha t as no-show, and will charge you your first night's bed or beds in full. Also, check-out time is 11am. It is grateful if you could go out between 11am and 1pm because we need to clean rooms and public spaces.
Cancelation Policy:
one day before arrival: 50% of first day's bed fee
2 to 3 days before arrival: 20% of first days's bed fee
