This a good location not far from the harbour and the room and bathroom was spacious and clean. I was met by the owners mother who spoke no English so was unable to get any info on the town. There was no common area provided and, I think, no other guests so lacking a bit in atmosphere but maybe it was the time of year. This place was inexpensive, clean, had free wifi, and a kitchen. On top of all this, the owner, Ive genuinely cares that the place is looking good and that you have a good time. I was immediately impressed with the location and beauty of the garden and the building. The location is excellent- close to the beach and town. The rooms are privates so it was perfect for a quiet stay. An interesting stay... we arrived when the owner was away, so his mother was in charge, who had good intentions but didnt speak any english... when Ive arrived home the next day, he was very helpful and nice though. Kitchen up the road, so had to carry all food down the road if we wanted to eat it on the terrace though, which was the only communal area, but still not very communal...! Very good hostel and great value. I had booked a single but had a double ensuite for just 110 kuna. The owner is lovely but does not speak a word of English. Great location on Hvar.
