The Melrose area is a very special part of Los Angeles. It is located on the West side of Hollywood and borders Beverly Hills, you can walk to many of the great experiences that Hollywood has to offer plus you will be centrally located to access all the sights and sounds of LA. The Orbit is a safe and secure two-story Hotel featuring 32 newly remodeled rooms. Private rooms have a comfortable queen size bed and TV, some having sunny balconies and high ceilings, or a beautiful view of Melrose Avenue or the West Hollywood Hills. Dorms have 6 or 8 beds per room, all with closet space, shelves, and their own private bath. They are cleaned daily and well kept. All rooms have a cool, colorful, retro-futuristic design with hip furniture and clean living space, giving the place a swanky Hotel vibe.
Clean and modern, it's a cool mix of colors and decor. Austin Powers meets the Jetsons, with stylistic and original common areas throughout including a street side patio and relaxing courtyard. Ambient music plays throughout the place creating a smooth and upbeat atmosphere. The lounge is a great place to relax day or night and meet people from around the world. The Cafe offers delicious dinners for around $6 and a social dining area with frequent events and gatherings including weekly free barbeques and free social every Saturday night.

To check in to a dorm you will asked to provide proof of current international travel. Please DO NOT RESERVE A DORM WITHOUT PROOF OF CURRENT INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL, you will not be accepted at check in, sorry. Please reserve a private room through our web site if you have no proof of international travel. People under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. Couples must reserve two beds.
