Orient Gate Hotel is in a perfect location in Wadi Mousa- on a quiet side street, but right in the middle of town.. nearby restaurants, cafés, markets, and an easy walk to Petra! Beautiful views of Petra from the rooms or rooftop.. the staff are accommodating and fun. I enjoyed hanging out in the lobby downstairs with Ismael (staff) and other guests traveling through or those staying awhile.. sharing stories, while sipping tea :) The door was always open.. and I always felt welcomed!

It's in center of Wadi Musa, but not close to Petra
Perfect location. Nice and clean hostel. The owner just should improve his chess skills. 100% recommendable.
Hostel is cheap, but there is no heating, no breakfast included, if you include these 2 you pay as much as you pay in other hostels in cities like Amman, don't know why would you put up a room with heating for booking in the chilling cold of petra, hot water is a luxury and the owner will keep making excuses that its so cold that water cannot be heated, which is a load of hocum. Better stay in another hostel with 1-2 dinars more. Personally had the worst night here. Staff is good
Overall my stay was pretty good. We were there two nights to visit Petra. For some reason getting hot water was an issue. A working heater would've been nice since it was very cold. Regardless of these issues I would stay here again for the price.

Rooms are very basic and cold. Staff is great. Location is great, near the bus station.
You pay for what you get. It's cheap but its a place to stay n location is fine for petra, but it's not pretty, really dirty, staff r a mix but generally really helpful.
As always - you get what you pay for! The bus station is very close. Petra is a downhill 10 minute walk. Usual suspects such as broken electric socket (they charged my camera in reception) / cold shower but for the price I would say it was an alright place to stay. Helped us with changing money. Breakfast was as much as the room, actually not too bad at all - tea, bread, egg, salad. Had a nice sunset view from our room. Would stay here again purely because everywhere else is SO expensive!
A 10 minutes walk brings you on a roof that faces a panoramic view of wonder-Petra. The low price night-staying offers friendly and helpfull hostes.
