We stayed for 4 nights. Its a cheap hostel, but very old, but if you just want to sleep there its okay. You can take a taxi to Petra Gate. Going into Petra costs 50 JOD or 55JoD for 2 days. The people are friendly. We would go there again.

Muhammad is the nicest manager I've come across yet, helpful, welcoming, friendly and above all he made us feel as though we were good friends. It's not too far from the Petra gate, there are restaurants close by and the lunch box is good value too. Thank you Muhammad!

I had a great stay at Orient Gate Hostel. The shower there was fantastic, a constant stream of hot water. Mohammed's hospitality was fantastic, he was so friendly and welcoming. He was able to organise a free shuttle to Petra for us and helped us arrange transportation for our onwards journey, without which we would have struggled to have got to our next destination.

The staff was great and went all the way to helpus when we needed something. They offer lunchboxes and breakfast for modest prices, but they are quite simple. The hostel was clean and the water was hot.

The hotel is sutuated at a calm street, near a bus station. Nearby main street, with restaurants and shops, leats to the Petra entrance. The hotel staff is friendly and helpfull. They help with advices and arrange turist trips. The internet access is free.

We enjoyed our stay at Orient Gate, it was exactly what we needed for 2 nights in Wadi Mousa. The room had an electric heater which came in handy during the unexpectedly chilly desert spring, plus warm blankets. The owner helped us graciously when we found ourselves in a bind, and he was a great host at the hotel. There is a computer in the lobby and wifi in the building, which we also found helpful. We hope to return to Wadi Mousa one day for it is a special place.

There's no hot water for shower (only warm water) and not worth the money to stay here! ! I don't recommended any one to stay in this hotel.
