It is the second time I went to this hostel cause I loved it the first time. The staff is amazing and so is the location; the breakfast is very good. The atmosphere is what I liked the most, it helps a lot to socialize and meet new people. Absolutely reccomended!

Hostel has it's own handy bar, and they tend to play loud music upstairs in the evening in the top floor. In the summer it would be nice of a morning/evening when the top floor windows are opened to go out on the terrace. Great location for exploring Sultanahmet - just 3 minutes walk from Hagia/Aya sophia, but a small room, average cleanliness and staff. Reasonable value for the money (£22/night for a double room for one was cheap, albeit in January). A basic continental breakfast is included.

The location is really good.. but the bathrooms were quite bad.. No water pressure whatsoever and barely any hot water. Travelling in winter time, this was a terrible thing to deal with.

Orient was located in a good neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants surrounding the hostel. When my wife and I arrived the front desk clerk was helpful. The room itself was musty and we had to open the window to let fresh air come in. The have a roof top terrace with amazing views. The breakfast was filling but basic. The shared bathrooms were gross at times but if you got ready in the morning after the staff cleaned them it wasn't a problem.

Great location for short-term tourists, particularly those travelling in small groups or alone - well placed along major transport lines, and in walking distance of many major sites. Laid-back staff is always ready to chat about any subject, particularly in the slower winter months. Rooms might seem a bit cramped but are really good value for the money.

We had an excellent time in the Orient Hostel. Got to the hostel very early (7am) but they managed to accommodate us well before the check in time, we even got an upgrade to a suite room! It was a nice cosy room, clean and comfortable. The staff was really friendly and easy going, even remembered my partner who stayed in the hostel in March. I would recommend the hostel to anybody and I would be very happy to stay there again. It is situated on a great lively street, close to Old Town.
