Nothing to complain about. Definitley would stay here again (which we did!) Clean and modern bathrooms. The staff were happy to help in any way necessary.

i didnt get to see any belly-dancing and the terrace on the roof closed early in the evening, but i still loved it for what it had to offer in return for the money.

Too noisy when I slept. Had to wear ear plug. Location is really good. If you only want a bed, it's a good choice.

The area is too touristic, prices are much higher compared to the city and you can\'t really feel in Istanbul. Though the location is very closed to the main attractions of the old instanbul and it\'s well connected with the rest of the city with the modern tram. Hostel was good, cleaned and the staff was nice, but our room was too small, a tiny little space where it was difficult to put baggages in. If you want to book a double room think about it.

Everyone was very friendly. The hookah bar and cafe downstairs made for some great nights. Very inviting atmosphere to meet new people. Location was fabulous! About a ten minute walk from anything and everything you need to see. Also, the continental breakfast was dreamy. They made fresh french toast. Best breakfast at a hostel yet!

the location is really great and the view from the roof was amazing. the breakfast was always good too! my one complaint is that there didn't seem to be enough security. it was definitely in a safe area and the other people staying at the hostel seemed trust worthy, but it did feel a bit like anybody could have just walked right in and gone inside of a room. it probably would be good to have some lockers

An excellent hostel in a perfect and fairly easy to locate area of Istanbul. "SD" was the staff person i dealt with most during my stay and I must say he is one of the nicest, most helpful and friendliest guys I've ever met. The rooms / washrooms are super clean! The upstairs common room area, bar (and bar staff) and the roof-top patio deck are fabulous with amazing views. The morning breakfast was filling and delicious. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Istanbul!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, when requesting help on the maps and showing places of interest, they fill me in with details of these places. The location was superb. Everything was perfect, except it gets a little noisy in the evening between 8-11 from the pub on the level upstairs, and just so happened there was a group of mad teens who got drunk and quarrelled e whole night outside the rooms in the hall till way past midnight. So it wasnt entirely pleasant because of this incident.

We stayed at the Orient Hostel in early March and were made to feel welcome by the very sociable and helpful staff. Evenings with them and the other guests in the hostel were lots of fun with music, beers and water pipe. Location is ideal for tourists and no problems at all with any of the facilities. Would definitely stay again, probably in summer when it’s busier and could enjoy the roof terrace. And it’s cheap too. Can’t imagine many other hostels in Istanbul are as good as this.

It was my first time in Istanbul, and I was alone. Because of the staff working there, especially Harun, my trip was great, and I will definitely return to this town, this hostel and those great people working and living there. Cheers from Hvar, friends!

Most of the staff are very friendly and seem to be very knowledgeable about Istanbul. Very clean and cosy hostel, nice rooms and nice view on the roof terrace. I should come during the summer to enjoy the view on the roof terrace.

One of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed. People who are working there is extremely helpful and kind. The transfer from airport was on nice Mercedes van and tho our flight was 2 hours delayed, a person from hostel was still waiting for us in airport. The showers are awesome (hot water is running non-stop, unlike other places in Istanbul), the dorm was clean and I definitely liked the mattresses :) Very big thanks to Hasan for prompt correspondence and planning things. The terrace view rocks :) The receptio

They only want your cash, and you can feel it. A coke is more expensive than at taksim square... You can not put toilet paper in the tolilet. you have to use a garbage bin. the computers which are provided are not up to date. you can hire a uptodate laptop for cash. the family of the staff is always hanging around there.
