The lady who runs this place is so nice and helpful. She gave me a free map and told me lots about the town. The guesthouse is very clean and the rooms are spacious compared to other ones nearby. The room rates are also lower than the others. There are free tea, coffee and biscuits in the kitchen and you can do your own cooking there. This is definitely a very good value for money accommodation!

This guesthouse offers basic comfortable rooms for an inexpensive price with a complimentary breakfast. I stayed in a room with a fan which was ok in January but I'd recommend getting a room with aircon in the summer. The guesthouse has a great location along the river near the restaurants and bars that line the riverfront in Chinatown. The young woman who runs the guesthouse is friendly and very helpful.

Asri runs a professional, friendly and welcoming guesthouse. The facilities are clean and in good working order, the location is excellent, and he and his wife are extremely helpful and generous with their advice to their guests.

This hostel was great! Lots of character, good book exchange, good location, very close to the centre. As soon as you arrive the staff are very helpful and give you a map letting you know where everything is. Very nice place to stay. Highly recomended.

Very nice and centrally located guesthouse, you can walk to Jonker street in few minutes and from the back door you can access directly the riverside and walk along the river or just sit there relaxing watching the boat passing by. The owners are very kind and nice people full of useful info on the city and the things to do. The place is clean and has also a kitchen with free biscuits, tea and coffee. Internet works well, also in the rooms at the last floor. I loved Malacca and my stay there!

This was one of the best value places I have ever stayed, largely because the owners are both absolutely lovely, helpful people.

Very kind and conscientious owners. Floors and walls are very thick compared to most hostels, so you will not be woken up by the creaks, footsteps, stomping, and hacking that characterize many hostels
