Really nice hostel! Maybe misinterpreted the "for women only" as not being primarily for lesbians. Felt out of place but still nice!

We found this a great place to stay, the location is great and convenient. Breakfast was good value (although the disposable everything did seem a little excessive), the rooms are spacious and internet very strong. The only downside was that the hot water in the showers were luke warm more than half the times we had showers. A quiet, restful place in the middle of bustling Rome.

I liked Orsa very much. It's perfectly clean and nice, the staff are very effective (and not excessively "friendly' or intrusive), the place is very special and different. The location is good (about 6 blocks away from Vatican).

This is a great, very clean hostel with breakfast, linen, a towel and internet access all included in the advertised price. However, if you are a younger single traveller looking to meet people and possibly party this is not the place for you.

Definitely one of the best hostel's I have lived in. The location was perfect with all the tourist attractions only a short walk. Trastevere itself is quaint and has lovely places to go out to in the evenings. The staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful- they even make your bed!

I had a wonderful stay at Orsa Maggiore. The rooms were spotless, I enjoyed free breakfast everyday, the wireless was very convenient, and the staff was extremely helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome.

Me and my daughter enjoyed staying in the hostel, because of it\'s friendly atmosphere, the spacious room. The location is perfect for exploring Rome. All our questions were taken seriously and answered. We felt at ease, because there are only women around. We had nice conversations with the other quests. I hope to be back again.

the only pointo I would suggest to change is that in the breakfast all the cutlery is plastic, I imagine because it's easier to throw it away when everyone has finnish. Plastic is very bad for the enviroment even if afterwars you recycle it. When all the hostel is full of adverteisements about "take short showers", "turn off the light"....I guess this is a point that it's missing.

It is a quiet, safe, and pleasant hostel in a great location. They have a special dining arrangement with the restaurant downstairs, but you can get more for your money at most of the nearby restaurants in Travestere. I am looking forward to staying there again at the end of my stay in Italy. Breakfast could use jam/butter for bread and fresh fruit. Shower room entry floor needs better cleaning, maybe have a mop handy. Good deal on pick-up and drop-off shuttle for airport. Have them book ahead!

If in search of an economical, safe, and convenient location for a quick stay in Rome, then Orsa Maggiore is your spot. Friendly staff, hospitable environment, and a place with a singular charm. Very \"Nun\'s Story\" type of environment. Aside from that, you are also able to meet people going about Roman sites, and buddy up if needed. Lots of English speakers stay there.

This hostel was beautiful, welcoming and perfect. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the rooms were so clean and bright. The location was perfect, and the security was very reliable. The breakfast was delicious and had a good spread of food for choice. Best hostel I have ever stayed in.
