This hostel was by far my favorite of all that I've stayed in. I love how there are no bunk beds, and the rooms were spacey and airy. The front desk was incredibly helpful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The location was fantastic, and I recommend it to everyone!

Please extend diving walls ALL the way up to the ceiling. 204 May be a 5 bed room, but we can hear everything in the connected room, and their lights affect 204 as well. And please get some proper bread for breakfast that isn't completely dried out.

I though the breakfast was awful! Small plastic cups, bad food, coffee machine was hard to use. I would recommend to use normal cups and better orange juice. Overall the experience is good. One thing that also bothered me was the hour for coming back ( 3am). Felt like a school girl who lived in a dorm. I don't know if it is normal amongst other hostel, but this rule I certainly didn't like.

We really enjoyed staying in the area of Trastevere and in particular appreciated the room size as well as the use of the garden for lunch and relaxing. We will recommend Orsa Maggiore to our friends, especially to women who travel alone.

The Hostel was great, with breakfest included, the breakefest was good with yorgut, toast, cake, milk ... The stuff is helpfull and answer every doubt ! I had one problem in the first day... i arrived and took shower at 22 hr and in the bathroom didn't have more hot water so i ask to the stuff about this and she afirm that to use the shower i had to wait some minutes till heat the water... but after she showed me another bathroom with hot water! So this was not a problem...

Incredibly nice hostel with good location near the Vatican. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beds were even made for us, and no bunkbeds! Breakfast was good. A+.

This hostel is a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere quiet. As a female single traveller I felt very comfortable here. It is in a great location, neat the cool area of Trastevere which I would definitely recommend over the Termini area where most hostels are. It's a bit annoying that it doesn't have a kitchen and no sink or running water in the breakfast area.

Such a great place to stay! The staff and the others women/ girls were so nice and helpful. The place has a really great social feeling to it. The location can't be beat for the price. I wish they had a full kitchen and it was a little loud at night, but it's a hostel, so that is to be expected. I would definitely recommend.

Helpful staff who were ready to give advice on food and travel options, and print out train tickets etc. Nice room with good bathroom facilities. Great location being about 15 minutes from Vatican City and about the same from the tourist centres of Rome. I'll look to rebook here for Part 2 of my Roman explorations, and would happily recommend it to other travellers wanting a calm refuge from a rather busy city.

Overall, I had a good stay. I was a little pissed when I was told that I could not get new blankets after another guest drunkenly peed on my bed in the middle of the night (and also that she had no repercussions, i.e. paying for an extra night and refunding one of mine), but there may have been a language issue there. It would be nice to have WiFi throughout the hostel, instead of just the corridor, and I did not know about the 3am curfew before booking. Overall, average, but worth the price.
