Only complaint is that the room had no window and was about as big as the average broom closet. Seriously, 2m x 2m. Handy under bed storage, aircon works, good hot shower, excellent wifi, rooms quite clean and made up every day. The owner and staff are nice and friendly. Chung King Mansions is a crazy location, just be aware that you may have to wait 15 minutes for the lift to arrive, and then it might be full.

They overbooked and i could not get my room although i had sent them a message stating my late arrival time!!! I had to find another hotel at 1 am on a holiday day and almost slept in the street!!!

That the room looked like a prison cell without any windows and that there was barely space to turn around still would have been no problem because I have been there just for sleeping. BUT the coakroaches in the whole room were too much of a good!!!

Standard for Chungking Mansions, no surprises, stayed in guesthouses here many times. Nothing to complain about since I know what I'm getting into, if people expect a nice traveller's youth hostel, then you'll be disappointed, but this is Chungking, it has its own qualities.
