Friendliest staff of any place we stayed in Japan. They learned all our names and were warm and chatty. We were handed free tea and biscuits straight after check in! Very modern rooms and reception. Location is ideal if you're young and wanna party and shop, you're in the heart of Amerikamura. I have no complaints except it was hard to find! Deserves its reputation. Definately do NOT miss Osaka Aquarium and check out the small Takoyaki shops, and a local bar called "Game Station", unique place!

Everything is good, except the bathroom. The shower curtain has bad smell !! However, the staffs are so nice. They help us a lot, thank you!

The location is absolutely perfect! Would recommend staying there even just for that fact alone. Also the staff was great, and good atmosphere for meeting new people. Facilities are average.

I gave everything a "good" rating plus an "excellent". Not sure why it's only 83%. I would give this place a solid 90% from my one nights stay. I wasn't blown away but thought it was a pretty good hostel!

This hostel is in a great location. Cafe Banco across the street is filled with expats. Easy place to walk to dontonburi at night, and take the subway in the day.

Very nice hostel and a great base to explore Osaka from. Staff are very friendly and helpful with good spoken English. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Communal areas are pleasant with free green tea for the guests! Shared bathrooms can get a bit crowded around peak times, but not too much of an issue most of the time. Wifi signal is quite weak if you're too far away from the router, but it's enough for checking email etc. Everything is immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend.

Best hostel by far! Located in the heart of Amerika Mura, it looks brand new with beautiful wooden floors & pristine bathrooms. The communal lounge is warm & inviting with tatami mats & a big modern kitchen. I stayed in a dorm & was impressed with the space/privacy afforded to each guest. Every bed has three walls & a curtain so it feels like you have your own little room. There's plenty of space for your luggage & a small safe too. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!

Hideko and the staff at Hana Hostel will make you feel extremely welcome. The hostel has everything you need!! Comfy beds, hot showers, a great location, nice common room to meet other travelers, a fully equipped kitchen and knowledgeable staff. I ate a a few very nice restaurants that were recommended by Hideko and her team. Keep up the great work guys :)

The location is excellent. Need to change train once to go to/from airport, but takes only about one hour. I only stayed there for one night, so I can't comment on all the staff, but the ones I've met are extremely friendly and helpful.
