everything at this hostel is good, except for the very poor sound proof at the common shower/toilet area on the 3/F...whenever anybody uses the hair dryer at the common "clean-up" area, the noise will be so annoying to the others...

Very nice, clean place. The room I stayed in was great, and had its own kitchen area and western toilet. It's Japanese style, so you get a tatami room with futon. It is located by a bunch of teen-ish fashion shopping, and not far from the Nanba area. Also, there's a nice little cafe downstairs. Make sure you double-check your map before you head out, though. Two of us were looking and we got two different spots on Google Maps for some reason, so we had to wander around a bit.

Amazingly surprised at the J-Hoppers network which offers discounts and nifty surprises for regular backpackers! Found the room to be cozy and love the access to the living area (with TV and games and internet use) and the kitchen. Really would recommend this place to anyone hopping by Osaka!

Absolutely loved this hostel. It was a great location close to the metro and within walking distance to great shops and restaurants. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very in helpful planning day trips (Nara and Kyoto) and helping me save money on buying a combo metro/aquarium pass. Will be staying here on my next visit to Osaka!

Great facility. Stayed in a 6 bedroom dorm, the room is very comfortable and clean. Staff was extra helpful. They go the extra mile just to help you out. I've stayed at hostels in Europe, UK, and the US and the Hana hostels chain are the best I've stayed at by far. Hana Osaka, thanks for having us, hope we someday can meet again!

It's a really lovely place. Ranna is so kind and friendly. We'd like to thank Ranna for being so thoughtful letting us store our luggage and letting us feel like home. We'll definately come back and stay at Hana again. This is a rewarding and warm hostel. :)

Four or five hostels later, these guys still have the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever met. Oh, and the place is really nice too.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a comfortable stay. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful of the dozen hostels I stayed in in Japan, they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I wanted to get a haircut and one of the volunteers working there went with me because no one in the salon could speak English so he sat next to me as my translator throughout my haircut. That was very kind of him. Location is great, in shopping district Shinsaibashi. Would stay again.

I was traveling solo and stayed in the 4 beds female dorm en-suite. It was a pleasant stay. The location was very convenient and it took less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest subway station. Very clean room. Highly recommended.
