I had a great time in this hostel. The staff was very available to help. The rooms are good. But they should put some warmers on the bedroms because of the cold.

I stayed in a 16 bedroom mixed dorm and it was not good at all. It really is like a warehouse that has small plaster walls that don't even reach the top of the ceiling and separates it into different parts so you can really hear a lot of noise from other room. The bathrooms were really dirty and had a really funky smell to them. The beds were really crappy and as for the lights there is a set time that they go on and off so you have no control of that. The breakfast is ok and location is good.

I had a great time in Venice apart from my stay at this hostel. The 10 bed dorms and washrooms where dirty and smelt like Skunk..... The staff where very un happy and un organized.. If you are wanting to have a good time with your buds, I highly do not recommend staying at this hostel... It is more family orientated.

Is a good hostel in a quite good position. Full of international travellers and for this a little bit noisy till 12 pm! The rooms are big and good structured; doesn't seem to stay with others 15 persons. The toilets are clean in the early morning but a little dirty in the evening. In the complex i give the score of 70.00%

It felt like a dorm. The room was fine, bed a little saggy but comfortable. 2 things tho: there was no outlet by my bed (so i couldn't charge anything!) & my locker wasn't near my bed so i had to go into someone else's "area" to access my backpack & i felt bad for that. Not on the mainland but extremely close to a vaporetto stop & fun site-seeing while getting there on said vaporetto. bathrooms were fine, staff was friendly & nice. Bad thing was i got sick from the breakfast (cereal, bun, drink)

You have to pay for internet, which only works sporadically. There is no laundry services although they can direct you to an expensive place on the main island. The rooms have a divider between them that doesnt reach to the ceiling so essentially I was sharing a room with about 100 people? on my floor. There was a large school group while I was there so when the bar, food area became open it was still not accessable for 1-2 hours after that. There is no kitchen area.

The hostel is in a great location, just a short boat ride from the main island, the hostel is very open and when we stayed a large about of the lockers were broken into and items such as lap tops cameras I phones etc were stolen. I had credit card details recorded and used and some cash stolen from my locked locker. I am still waiting to hear from them about their insurance. My experience of this hostel was poor apart from the location. If you stay here do not leave anything of value in lockers.

Booked what I thought was supposed a girls dorm turned out to be a huge dorm with some wall partitions and full of men and women, girls and boys of all ages. There are no keys or swipe cards to get in to the hostel or the dorms no lock outs, so this means that anyone could enter the hostel at anytime and you have to rely on the bad lockers or your own padlocks for security.

We could only enter after 1,30pm and had to checked out at 10am. It was noisy, we were tired and needed to rest and it was very difficult cause we could hear everything. I think the staff was rude, except one guy that gave us more blankets. The reception woman treated us like retardeds and in the evening when I went to the bar to ask for dinner the guy told me rudely to come in 45m because the kitchen was occupied with other custumers food (not nice). Beds and toilets were ok, breakfast was good

You have to catch the waterbus to the accommodation which being 6.50 euro one-way can be expensive. There's no room keys so you definitely want to keep your stuff in the locker and they don't let you in your room between 10am-1.30pm which made it a little annoying seen as I wasn't feeling well so I couldn't go and lie down.

This is the perfect place to stay. It is 5 min away by water bus from S. Marco S. zaccaria. On Giudecca it is more relaxed and not packed with tourists as it will be other places. The breakfastwas good too. Juice and coffee from automats, cornflakes and choco pops, marmelade and nutella for your bread. From Venezia Santa Lucia railway station take a water bus to Zitelle and you'll see a building fronting the water "Ostello" and you are there :) Go to the beach in Lido it's free and great!

No charm or character but hey its a cheap bed in Venice and you're not going to be spending much time here anyway. Clean and safe and good enough.
