This was just a room with 4 sets of bunk beds. Only 1 working power point, no individual lamps, bathroom was dirty and kept flooding. Breakfast was a coffee and croissant in a public cafe downstairs; this was the only place the wifi would work, nothing in the rooms. Whole set up was shoddy, no communal area, no facilities. The lay out of the beds meant I had some guys stinky feet in my face all night. The place is a dump.

Over all the experience was good. The only thing was that it was so hot in the room. The hostel only had one ceiling fan for the 8 people sleeping there. We left the window open all the time but we had absolutely no breeze. It was hard to sleep. Besides that, I enjoyed it and made some really good friends with my roommates.

The breakfast is awful and the bathroom is alwalys dirty and wet. The internet doesn't work, only in a caffe, 2 floors down.

A kitchen was advertised, however it was broken, and had been for a long time, so unlikely it will be fixed in the near future. Bathroom was very poor - door didn't close, let alone lock. No bathmat and floor got extremely wet and dirty when anyone had a shower - a bit of a safety hazard due to slipping. Not much social, hostel atmosphere. Train was right below the window so noisy early in the morning.

Great location. Very good place if you arent going to spend much time there.

The rating is low even though the place isn't that bad. It's cheap and clean but the 4 bed dorms are so small it borders on claustrophobic and the toilet/shower unit is behind a curtain at the head of a set of bunks. There's no common room or cooking facilities and nowhere to eat your own food/have a few drinks with your companions but outside there is a cafe affiliated with the hostel where the typical Italian breakfast of cappuccino and pastry is complimentary for guests.

Not a great Hostel, not a great location, dirty. I guess you get what you pay for.

A nice hostel, very comfy and clean beds, nice bar below, the only problem I had was with the bathroom. The first night I stayed there the bathroom floor was flooded and when you flushed the toilet the water would continue to run for about an hour. The bathroom is separated with a screen so it made it difficult to get to sleep.

Ostello delle Sirene is a good deal for a short stay. It was clean, but the dorm was extremely small, and the kitchen (as advertised) was not available for use. Also, it was impossible to lock anything in the small lockers.
