Good hostel, all the facilities, location was a bit further away from the city centre than we thought but staff were very friendly and it was a fine place to stay for one night.

The best hostel I have visited. Great personalized service that makes you feel at home. Very clean, very friendly, very convenient. Great breakfast!!

Great place. Free internet. Only a quick walk to the sites, like the Duomo. Nice bedrooms. Free snacks and hot drinks through out the day. Great staff. Air con. Good for meeting people. Would definitely stay again!

i could find not find a single fault at all with this hostel , one of the nicest hostels i ve stayed in so relaxed welcoming and also clean and cosey would recomment this hostel to anyone heading to florence staff so helpfull and nice our stay coulnt have been better ;-)

Wonderful place to stay in Florence, within walking distance of most of the sights and museums. They make you feel right at home. Definitely worth the price, I would stay there again.

This didn't feel like a hostel to me. It felt like coming home to a family. The staff is beyond awesome. Helped me get in touch with my bank. Great breakfast. Brought me espresso when I checked in. Gave great recommendations on what to see. Just loved this place. Was very sad to check out.

Not happy to give good feedback as we were not able to stay here as falsely advertised on net as airconditioned - turned out to be untrue as the only part was the cheaper dormitory area - bathrooms and bedrooms not up to standard w e are older travellers and my husband and I were very disappointed when we saw bedroom, however the manager was understanding and allowed us to cancel and find accommodation elsewhere. The main reason was the extreme heat in the bedroom and bathroom section.

This hostel was the best i've ever stayed in. Very friendly and helpful staff, Matteo's tips about the city and restaurants were great, i only stayed 2 nights in Florence and could make the most of the city thanks to his tips. Samantha, the lady who took care of the kitchen was great, breakfasts and her lovely chats made my day. I'd definitely recommend anybody to stay at Ostello Gallo D'oro, just great place. I stayed in the 4 female ensuite room,wifi was quiet fast too and loved free cookies:)

I haven't got a bad word to say about this place. Room and bathroom were lovely, breakfast was really tasty. Staff were absolutely amazing, really friendly, they went out of their way to make you feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent hostel. We stayed at a private suite. Staff was very helpful and friendly. No A/C but the fresh air was even better.

Solid place with nice and helpful staff. Matteo is a good dude and helped out with a place to grab some steak, drinks, and dancing. All was simple and made the quick stay well worth it. Computers to use in the hallway were a nice touch and was in a good location - not too close to city center but a simple walk and near some good restaurants. If and when I go back to Firenze, I will certainly be staying here.

the staff are soooo nice here =) they help you every single time, when you want and whatever you need to know you can tell them...AND they make you pasta on Sunday nights! super benne

Don't be put off by the 20 minute walk from the station. This is the BEST hostel I have ever stayed in - imaculately clean, spacious, fantastic breakfast which included GOOD coffee), obliging and fun staff, free internet, access to computers and printers, fantastic facilities including self-cater kitchen and a supermarket only a few blocks away. It's a 10 minute saunter to the main sights. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here and bringing mates next time. Had a spectular time!

This is an excellent hostel lead by great staff, very comfortable and spotless rooms, plus free internet and breakfast. I would definitely recommend Ostello Gallo D'Oro if visiting Florence

i've stayed in a lot of hostels and this one is the best one i've ever been too. the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, vthe breakfast is amazing and there are other snacks out throughout the day, the walk to the main part of town isn't too far. it was awesome. i'm only sorry i was only there for 3 nights!
