The beds are small and uncomfortable. It is a 20-30 minute walk from the main attractions (not 10 as stated). There is no common room, only a breakfast room with small tables and chairs. There are no extra blankets. The showers while being warm, are one huge stream, like a pummeling waterfall, not like rain. The hostels saving grace is that breakfast is free and the staff are friendly. To expensive for what it is.

What a great first time hostel experience. I got spoiled with this hostel. Wonderful staff and great breskfasts. The way the reception and dining area setup makes it so easy to meet other travelers and get to know the staff. You always habe to walk past the staff and through the dining room to get to your room. Met some great new Friends and went on day trips to pisa and siena with some of them! i miss it already and its only been days! I will be Back!!!

This was easily the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The breakfast was huge and amazing in the mornings and FREE. Everything was included. Towels, linens, breakfast, internet or wifi. I loved the staff as well. They always said hello and made sure everything was up to your standards. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted with friendly Italian smiles and a cappuccino. They also have great reccommendations for what to do in Florence. I will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival the staff offers you a hot drink and recommendations on where to go in the city. The rooms are clean and quite lovely. If you go to Florence, stay in this hostel!!

I really enjoyed the stay at this hostel. The staff is so nice and kind. They know everything about Florence and tell you where to go. I was also impressed by the breakfast that is included in the price. They don't only have toasts and cereals, but also boiled eggs and croissants, or they even make fresh orange juice for you! A little walk from the main station and places for tourists, but I highly recommend you to stay here,

Place visited when it was a quiet moment (may is the middle of the week) the staff was very nice and helpful. It would be useful if you add indications how to arrive to your place from the others trains stations of florence, and being in front of your building (very very difficult to find)

The location is a little bit far from the main station but it doesn't matter. The Staff is very kind, warm, friendly. This is the best hostel I've ever stayed.

The staff is incredible! Always willing to help you out with anything and everything. They are fun to hang around and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hostel itself is in a great location, about a ten minute walk from the Duomo and city center. The facilities are clean, simple, and include all the basic necessities. There has been some recent construction outside the hostel that caused a bit of noise along with night traffic, but nothing too bad. In all it was a great stay!

I loved my stay here so much! The location is great - all of the best sights in Florence are within easy walking distance, and the rooms are nice and very clean (some even have balconies). But the best part is the wonderful and helpful staff!! they speak wonderful english and will help you with anything you need - recommendations, reservations, directions, the italian language, etc. The place feels very safe and secure, you will feel like you have gained an italian family!
