The hostel is really close to the station, the staff is very friendly and helpful, there's a kitchen available and the price is really cheap. If all you need is a bed, a hot shower and a place to store your luggage while you're travelling, it's hard to find a more suitable accomodation.

We stayed here one night to get a ferry to greece the next day. Was very easy to get to the port from here by bus, free shuttle service. Staff were friendly, room clean, showers hot, didnt need anything more.

You should add some lockers.. also closing the door at 1 a.m. is exaggerating

the staff were very helpful with info about the buses in to the center and welcoming. The location was convenient, just opposite the train station.

We stayed whilst they were renovating, but staff were very accomodating and helpful, the new common area of the hostel is really cool & an amazing view! The hostel should probably just pick a name though as the sign out the front says "hostel mennagio" but everywhere else (online and signs in town) have a different name, can cause a few arguments between tired travellers.

Had the weirdest experience here. Didn't really know who worked there and who didn't, staff would fight in front of everyone. You had to share a key with the people in your room which you had to leave hanging at the front desk (easy for anyone to take) Rooms weren't anything special. Atmosphere was horrible, people who stayed there all seemed like locals who were also very strange. Communal showers. Felt really uncomfortable staying here! Lucky we only had one night here..

It was very conveniently placed near the train station so it was very easy to find once I got off the train. It also had a bus stop that brings you straight to the port outside of the hostel so that was really good as well! There is a sweet lady working at the front who directed me to the lovely beach of portonovo, and I had no problems checking in. It's very clean and comfortable.

Its in front of the trainterminal, but the place its not to good. Staff is very good!

One key for the entire room and no lockers so not particularly secure. Bathrooms were average, but clean enough. Wifi didn't work in the room and there was one outlet for 6 beds. It was horribly hot and there wasn't even a fan in the room. Staff didn't speak much english but were pleasant. Okay for somewhere to sleep convenient for the train station.

Good location, that is all. The staff do not speak in English or Spanish, just Italian, it was not very clean. There was no air condition and it was very hot in the city. There is no locker in the room and in the social area. I do not recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY!!! There is only one key for each room so our 6 person room stayed unlocked all night. Anyone can walk in off the street and up to the rooms (no security at all). A random person walked into my room, but left after they saw me...Neither of the shower doors lock and anyone can walk in on you. Also, the hostel disregarded that I paid a deposit and charged me the full price. There was only one outlet in the room, so good luck charging your phone. Nightmare!

We stayed at the hostel because we wanted to have some cheap days at the beach and therefore it was great. The Hostel is right at the main station, where there is a bus to Mezzavalle beach which takes around 30 minutes. To the city centre of Ancona you have to take a bus. Unfortunatelly the owner doesn't speak any english so the check in was quite hard but there is a woman who is able to speak english (but she's not always there). For the price the room was quite ok and clean.

Only really booked this hostel because it was the only one in the area. It's convenient as it's located only 5 minutes away from the train station but a bit further away from the port. Can't really complain much as it was the only hostel in the area so it had everything you really needed.

good just for 1 or 2 nights. no air conditioning. but in a good location and the staff are really friendly
