the location is perfact...almost oppersite the train station....staff speak next to no english, but were friendly...the common area is like a dinning room, so not very comfy...the rooms were fine...the bathroom was clean....its not very exciting but if ur vatching the ferry its good....its the3 cheapest place to stay..so it was good for me...

we had booked the room two days before check in with the estimated arrival time of 9.00am listed on our booking. after a 12 hour overnight boat from croatia we arrived at the door. the female staff member then told us that it was closed untill 4.00pm and that although we could leave our bags inside we werent allowed to go in. she then pointed at a sign that said during off season closed every day from noon untill 4.oopm. she in no way cared for our needs. no information was given on booking page

We needed to get to the Port the next day so this hostel was perfect. It was next to the trainstation and close to the center of the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay again.

Pretty uninspiring hostel in an uninspiring city. Very fast free wifi, and communal kitchen. But no breakfast included. They also cleaned my room a day early and took my towel, and because they spoke no English I couldn't explain what had happened to get it back. So now I don't have a towel.

Free wifi was good. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. The showers had nice hot water too!

A bog standard hostel, but let down by the lack of trimmings (things like shelves/hooks in the showers and lockers make a massive difference). Staff didn't seem to know much about the area either. Ancona is the main ferry port to Greece out of season and at least a timetable, map or directions would have been useful.

good position, only 200 m to train station and only about 750 m to city centre (old town) fantastic price helpful stuff
