The hostel is closed from midnight and the staff don't give you key for the main door, you have only the room key, which is heavy like a stone and difficult to fit in your pocket. So you have to be back by midnight therefore you really can't enjoy the nightlife in the town. This is really funny because the hostel meant to be a youth hostel... The only good thing, the train station is just about 5 minutes walk. Overall I absolutely not recommend the hostel for young people.
Very close to the train station and only twenty min walk or quick bus ride to the center, other than that, this hostel had nothing going for it really. The rooms smell, the cleaning is obviously halfassed, the kitchen is better than some I've seen but not great, and they don't offer very much. Good enough for a place to sleep but then you'll have to get out during the day. Staff was kind of friendly but really didn't seem that welcoming. Overall, not worth what I paid.

Very simple Hostel. It's just 2 minutes away from the train station and 15 min walk from the port. It's really expensive in my opinion and for hat kind of money I expect more than only a bed (where I had to put the sheeds on myself) and a shower. It was clean, though. All in all, it's not the best place I ever been, but it's all right for one night.
More like a hotel than hostel, great position 3 mins from the station. Not much in the way of a kitchen though
Great location as within walking distance to the train station and ferries. Area a little dodgy at night - stick to the main streets. Some staff very nice, others quite rude. Had good wifi (only in common area and stairwells), clean toilets and showers (although the showers had see-through curtains). Large common area with kitchen and TV.
Nice, cheap place with helpful staff and comfy beds. Located close to the train and bus station and plenty of food places nearby, plus supermarkets.
The hostel is ok, but as other people said, because it's so close the train station it's possible that some weird people will be with you in the room, in my case I didn't see any "traveller" type in the hostel, and I stayed in the room with a very wierd Italian middle aged guy that was a bit mental in my opinion.
Not very close to the city center but easy to reach by bus or 20 minutes on foot. Very close to the train station which is nice. Dirty bathroom. No place to lock your stuff up and only one key per room so you have to depend on your other roommates to make sure at least the room is locked. Even though their website says open 24 hours, they actually mean only open until midnight so be careful with that one. I didn't really like the place but was the only hostel I could find in Ancona.
During the summer it is imposible to sleep because of the heat. Rooms need air condition.
I totally recommend this hostel. The staff is extraordinary, funny and really really helpful, even if we don't speak italian. just book this hostel for your stay in Ancona :) thank you for everything!
Perfect little hostel for a small town/port. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were neat. The wifi was fast and the bathrooms large and spacious. Perfect for the night stay.
No nos dieron llave de la habitación. Podía entrar cualquiera cuando no estábamos.
this hostel is a 2min walk from the train station and soo esy to find1 great wifi and great airon.. also very clen, which is also a bouns only downside was woman dint speak much english! ohh and kitchen faclities and rooms were great!
I thought that when I paid some few euros in internet, that paid was included in the cost of the hostel.

Very well located as it was easy to get there walking from the train station. Also very close to the bus stop to go to the port.
The location is pretty sketchy, but it is right by the train station which is good. There really is no security for your stuff in the rooms which is terrible (i was so scared to leave anything of value while i even went for food). The staff barely spoke english, and weren't welcoming. You must be out of your rooms from 11 - 3:30 (& the staff guy tried to kick us out at 10 30 because we were in "girls" rooms. The place was clean however I just wouldnt recommend staying 2+ nights.
The location is averagely good because it is right in front of the station, which was helpful at first, but the station is not so central. As a hostel it is very simple for several aspects, same thing for atmosphere, and because of this it is very quiet. The very negative aspect of the hostel is its closing time of 00:00. Had a negative experience with the staff because of some misunderstandings about this rule. Besides that, the staff was kind and helpful. The price per night was too high though
Although close to the station, was very quiet. Few washbasins and a missing door in the showers.
Decent hostel very close to the train station. Area seems dodgy at first, but the town is small and charming when you get into town. English spoken is difficult but were willing to help. About 20 mins walk into town. If taking ferry,#20 bus from train station then you pick up ticket at one location. Then get same bus oustside which takes you to port. The bus is free. Typically Italian. Always one more thing to do lol. They have wifi
No internet connection; nobody can speak english, so you have to learn some italian. Staffs are really rude. Drunk old people everywhere. It is near a port, so you can expect all that kind of strange ( and dangerous) guys. The worst bed of all my trip. 18 euro for this is an abuse.
