I absolutely loved this hostel! The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the the garden outside our room was very inviting. Our only issue was that it was a little difficult to find, we followed the directions but it should be noted that it is in the pastoral school because we thought we were in the wrong spot. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The staff is great (they stayed on the phone with me for 20 min while I was lost), the lockers are huuuuge, and it's really clean with nice bathrooms. Great central location in Venice. Only things that were annoying were the wifi being really slow/unreliable and there's a lockout at 9:30AM so you can't sleep very long :( Other than that, great hostel.

The bathroom was a little weird, but mostly backpackers are just all boring now because they are always on their smartphones and never interacting with each other.

Easy to get to off the train, easy to walk anywhere in Venice. No social atmosphere but there is a pub just down the street we liked. Bathroom was pretty dirty, but there was hot water atleast. Wasn't too bad price-wise especially for being in Venice. For that reason, I would recommend if you want to be able to explore the city to it's full potential. Hard to find cheap hostels in Venice, this one suited our needs. Only major complaints were the hours of reception and wi-fi didn't work.

Nice and quiet hostel..was a bit hard to find the place for the 1st time..great location with supermarket n restaurant around..

Wonderful hostel so close to waterbus, St. Lucia train station, bus station and the Grand Canal , Great value for money, especially in Venice. In an atmospheric area away from the main tourist strip, close to the Jewish Quarter, with souvenirs, eats, etc. cheaper than central Venice.

Location is 10 minutes walk from the st Lucia station and near the centre. The only poor thing about this hostel are the reception opening times. We arrived after 8 pm and the reception was fully closed. We had luck that a student who lived there found someone who worked in the hostel. So we got our roomkeys after all but the check in was the next morning. Reception is also closed till 9 am and from 12/15.

The only good aspect of this hostel was the location- as it's actually on the island of Venice. Albeit hard to find. Terrible wifi that you have to constantly resign in to. Poor atmosphere, and rooms that rarely locked. Good lockers that you can fit all your stuff into. Cleaners come into your room at 9.30 in the morning, only one shower between many people and you are expected to check out between 9 and 9.30am. Would not come back here

Great location

This was probably the best value accommodation we could find in Venice during our time there (September). We loved the fact that we could have our own room. The shared bathrooms were very good, although the showers may need a bit of work - fix doors & seals, but this didn't spoil our stay. We found the place to be very clean and neat. We didn't use the kitchen, but this looked tidy and well kitted out. The wi-fi access was erratic, but i don't know if this was due to proximity to the router.

Very clean, simple check in, a bit difficult to find. Great location in the city, well worth the money.

Really good hostel in a nice location in venice as opposed to somewhere outside of it. i met some nice people but it wasnt incredibly social. one lady in our room snored as loud as an alarm clock all night... kitchen facilities were well equiped and clean

its good! clean, quiet and nice outdoor space. the indications to reach it are quite difficult to follow as the street's name is not the on'es mentioned but via daniele..

The lockdown between 10-16 is absurd and bizarre! Of course cleaning is necessary but no reason the guests should leave because of that. Also the rooms don't realy close and the lock we rented for the locker could be opened by other keys!:/ Apart from that, staff are nice, kitchen is great and pasta

dear zohar, are you sure you are talking about our hostel? we don't serve pasta, and we don't provide lock for the lockers, we have closets with keys to secure personal items. all rooms can be locked by keys, and each guest has his own key. we clean daily from 10 am to 2 pm... asking clients to give us space and time, without lockdown.... the manager

Easily reached by the bus station/train station. The hostel is in an alright location, away from the noise on the street and within walking distance to most things. Not too many facilities but everything was clean. The lockout is kind of frustrating but they do declare it on the site and at the front desk. Two major complaints I had were the locks on the lockers not working (for any of the lockers in my four person room) and the fact that the lock on the room door makes a huge amount of noise.

Cheapest hostel in Venice. Always enough guests for them, so they feel no need to improve service. Everything is very basic. We had some (scary) insects in our dirty room. After a complaint the hostel reacted correctly and changed the dirty cheats. The rest of the room remained dirty and dusty. The staff was friendly though :) oh and don't use google maps to find the hostel, unless you fancy a swimm. The directions lead you to a place where there used to be a bridge.

We got a good time there. The facilities were good, the staff was very friendly and it is almost located in the heart of Venzia. It was at night the most quiet hostel I ever stayed.

Great hostel. Located in the less touristy part of town with nice restaurants nearby. It is run by students as part of a religious student residence. The 12:30am lockout was no problem as Venice doesn't have a nightlife! Highly recommended.

Its not the easiest to find, but after you found the hostel, you are being welcomes by the super friendly and helpful people at the front desk. I found it really funny that they give you a city map, after you just feel like you already looked in every street for the hostel :)
