Located in Biassi, not Cinque Terre. To get to Biassi, you can take a public bus, which is easy if before 8pm. The hostel runs a cheap shuttle back and forth to Riomaggiore. Good service and great staff. There is a cook in morning and at night. Dinner is great but the breakfast is just a crossaint with juice and coffee. Washer but no dryer on site. Lockout after 1:00 AM and in the day from 10:30-2:30 for cleaning, which can be a pain if you need to get work done since there's nothing around.

Thanks for everything :) Had a great time at the Ostello Tramonti. The hostel is technically located in Biassa, just outside of the Cinque Terre - however they offer a 1Euro shuttle both to and from the national park (cheaper than the bus) and the hostel itself is much more affordable. The staff were extremely accommodating and really tried to make sure guests had options to explore the Cinque Terre, providing maps as well as shuttles and even a shuttle back to the train station on Sundays.

Had a great time staying here. It's in a cute little village with amazing views. The shuttle into the cinque terre is really easy too. Would recommend it.

A great place to stay if you are checking out cinque terre. The shuttle to and from the hostel was fast and cheap.

Good basic hostel. Bar upstairs for food although no kitchen area to cook your own food. Shuttle runs into Cinque Terre regularly so you won't mind that its a bit further out. Rooms are spacious and location is quiet.

It is a good hostel that is value for money. The staff are nice and helpful in arranging the transport for us. The transport makes the trip extremely convenient despite not staying in Cinque Terre. The hostel mates are very sociable and the hostel has many common areas for us to interact with the other hostel mates. The down side about this hostel is the location and the direction to this hostel is not very clear. Many people got lost along the way... I hope the staff could look into it.

Sorry, but "many people lost along the way" it's a little bit overstated. Sometime people have problems to reach us,frequently our guests arrive without worries. Ciao

I have never stayed in a hostel where they tell you to leave for 4 hours EVERY DAY so they can clean the showers and toilets. The bedroom doors do not stay closed unless you lock them which is hard when you are only given one key. The laundry has no hours of use on it so we were woken up every single night by the noisy washing machine. The shuttle was good but run in hours to suit the hostel, not the people staying there. No bar to speak of, so many missed opportunities for a better place tostay

Every hostel has a lockout for cleaning, however it's not for 4 hours and you stayed in the room until 1 pm .. The washing machine can't be used in the night.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at!! The staff is extremely friendly and the facilities are very clean. It's located up in the hills about a 15-20 bus ride from the La Spezia train station and can be a little tricky to find, but if you tell the bus driver Ostello Tramonti and keep your eye out for an old school (that's what it's located in) you will find it! Free shuttle to and from Cinque Terre! Great food! And private toilets! How can you beat it?

Just what you need if you want to see Cinque Terre. The hostel is a bit out of the way but the €1 shuttle makes it worthwhile seeing as it's a lot cheaper than hostels in any of the five towns. Just be aware of the lack of kitchen and limited eating options at the hostel, it's probably best to be prepared with your own food or eat in Cinque Terre.

the staff are nice and give us good suggestions!

Had a great stay here! If you're worried about the lockout period don't be because you need all day to explore the beautiful cinque terre! The shuttle bus is great and the staff are so accomodating and helpful! I would stay again!
