I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was extremely accomodating specially with the shuttle to and from Riomaggiore. They always made sure everyone made jt there at the time they prefered and made it back safely to the hostel. Breakfast is not included but at a price of 4 euro I found it very worth it, and the dinner offered is very good and reasonably priced as well. My only complain would be the wifi, as it kept disconnecting when I tried to make other bookings.

I stayed here for 3 nights and thought it was a great hostel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Located in Biassa so it was a shot shuttle ride - only thing was you had to book the shuttle in advance (earlier that day). The hostel staff were great though and even went out of their way to pick us up in a car if needed/the shuttle was fully booked and you missed your slot. Clean, comfortable and really social environment. Recommended if you want a cheaper alternative in the area.

Very helpful staff. Location isnt ideal however the shuttle buses make the commute easy. Good atmosphere for meeting people. Wifi is slightly dodgy.

Good hostel - staff were great, good facilities. Distance was kind of annoying as it was so far from the 5 villages, but they do offer shuttle services. It's kind of annoying having to book your shuttle in the morning tho - not much room for spontaneity. Staff also go out of their way to help us - sent down an extra car to collect our group when our train was delayed, saving us a 60+ euro cab ride! Great, cheap food in the hostel kitchen, and nearby pizza place. Would stay here again.

Hostel was brilliant. I thought the location up in Biassa would be a hassle but the hostel shuttle which runs 5 times each morning and night made it super easy to get down to the villages and back at night. It was also free because I was staying more than 3 nights which was an added bonus. Nico's breakfast for 4 euros was another highlight

One of the most friendly and helpful staff I've encountered; he happily helped us plan our day to maximize the visit.

this is easily one of the best hostels in cinque terre.. has convenient access to la spezia and riomaggiore..good breakfast and dinner and a beautiful view of the mountains..the staff were friendly and helpful and they have a shuttle facility at various times..

This hostel is in a truly beautiful, quiet town nestled into the mountains, and was such a relief from the bustling of tourists. Only a short shuttle ride from Riomaggiore and the beach! The only trouble is to make sure you catch the last bus or shuttle, as it is far too expensive to take a taxi. The restaurant was one of the best parts of this hostel! They serve amazing gourmet food for dinner and the breakfast is worth every penny.

It's pretty much your only cheap option in the Cinque Terre area. Honestly, I would look into La Spezia, mainly because the buses from Biassa to Rigiomagiorre are only 5 times a day. You have to plan your day around the bus schedule. Very inconvinient. Other than that, the rooms are spacious and clean. Only 1 outlet for a 4-person dorm. There are church bells that will wake you up all night if you leave the widow open or are a light sleeper.

Let's face it, the Hostel isn't right on the beach, and the bus/train system in Cinque Terre can be a pain to navigate; however, this hostel makes up for those super minor shortcomings with a super staff. Andreas gives great suggestions for things to do in the towns as well as the best places to hike and get the best pictures of the mediterranean. Treat yourself to dinner at the hostel prepared by Nico one night and you won't regret it. Great atmosphere to meet up with other travelers.

Staff could be a bit rude/curt. and the bus pick up is all the way at the top of the hill in Riomaggiorie which kind of sucks if you're exhusted from the day. Not much atmosphere going on, most people just on thier phones. Besides all that, it is a good option as accommodation for Cinque Terra.

The location is a bit troublesome, however it by no means tarnished our visit to Cinque Terre. The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant - quick to offer suggestions and discuss logistics for seeing the area. This place is great alternative for people who don't want to pay the cost of hotels inside Cinque Terre. There is a lovely little kitchen with reasonable prices and plenty of options.

While a little out the way in the hills there is a day bus service supplemented by a bus service. Andreas goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Whether it's one or two or a large group he will do his best with lifts into town, local knowledge and general help. Excellent budget accommodation.

Shuttle service was so nice to have and lockers provided comfort when away from the hostel. Beautiful area

Great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere a little cheaper near the Cinque Terre. There is a shuttle everyday that takes you and picks you up at the closest town on the Cinque Terre. You can't cook but they have an amazing restaurant in which the chefs are always playing lovely jazz and blues. Lovely nice big lounge area where you can watch a DVD. Great balcony and outside area. Not enough toilets and showers! Needs more cleaning. Lack of chargers near beds. Good wifi.

Not exactly "close" to the 5 cities, but if you are willing to pay for their shuttle or take a public bus down it is totally worth it. The views from the hostel are breathtaking and the quality of the hostel is really nice. The people I met there were extraordinary and though they were understaffed they were always very helpful providing info about where to go and what to do. Also- NOT a party hostel- if you want that go somewhere else and it can be tricky to get to, but really enjoyable stay!

Ostello Tramonti exceeded all my expectations by far. Not located exactly in Cinque Terre but they offer a cheap shuttle service every morning and evening to and from Riomaggiore where you can get the train to each of the towns or walk. The rooms were very secure with lockers. Very good bathroom facilities. The dinner was amazing, a bit expensive of you're on a budget but delicious nonetheless. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Really nice hostel a bit far from Cinque Terre but the service shuttle is good. Offers good meals and breakfast for a good price. Rooms are clean, bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, but overall this is a good hostel. I would go back if I come to the area again.
