Quite simply the best hostel I have stayed at........FANTASTIC staff, beautiful old building with a modern interior. In a great neighbourhood in terms of good food and drink options and plenty of intersting cultural things to do and see. FREE Spanish lesson was fantastic also. Really had a wonderful time here, as it was such a nice place to relax and unwind after taking in the best of Buenos Aires.
Very friendly staff and a lovely clean hostel, however wifi does not work in the bedrooms and a lack of plug sockets!

This location is great if you are there for the Sunday market. There are also some restaurants around but besides that, there's not that much. The hostel itself was fun with a lot of backpackers, but the organization system for the rooms was a mess. We had to change rooms twice while we were there and we were only there for a week. The kitchen set up was okay if there aren't a lot of people, but at breakfast it got crowded and sometimes standing room only. The bar in th place was kind of lame.
Found the rooms needed a refurbishment. Was moved rooms at little notice aswell. Otherwise was a really good social place to stay. Lots of freebies such as free Spanish class on Monday and tango class on Saturday. Barbeque evening on the terrace was also good for social and food experience. Staff were useful for information about going to football matches aswell. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby aswell. Is a couple of blocks from the metro aswell.
If you don't make it to breakfast right away, you may as well just forget it and bring your own. There won't be any left and the staff doesn't refill it. Other than that the hostel has great views and good amenities and extra activities.
Very good location, if coming from the airport, it a hour transfer on the public bus. Hostel is large with many floors, but there is a loft, staff were really helpful. Very good facilities. Glad we booked this hostel, we have stayed in over 45 on our trip so far and this rates in the top 10 for sure.
Nice friendly hostel. Plenty of space and nice airy room. (32). The showers were a bit doge, would be good to get a bit more hot water flowing, but otherwise no complaints at all.
A very nice hostel with kind and helpful staff. Good location, clean rooms and an ok breakfast.
A nice hostel, conveniently located with friendly staff. Though there were never 2 types of fruit at breakfast, there was plenty of bread, jam and cereal. It was extremely noisy one night as if there are people partying loudly, it echoes up the atrium into all of the rooms.
Carolina in reception was very patient and a great help to us in booking tours and buses. The hostels location is very central especially on Sunday for the market. The beds do not have ladders or safety bars for the top bunks though. But overall excellent
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here, and appreciated the staff's friendly and approachable manner. Special mention to Carolina for being so helpful and sweet! Dorm rooms are a bit more spacious than most hostels, and the showers are nice and hot. The kitchen was a bit gross, but I guess that is due to other guests' hygiene standards, not the staff's efforts. Noise really travels through the whole building so definitely pack your ear plugs!
The staff should know more about the nigth life...
