This hostel was amazing. The staff was very nice and Lino (one of the owners) made the whole stay worth while. The dinner for 10 euro was one of the best we had in Italy and being just a few minutes walk from the entrance to Pompeii was a big plus. Also the hostel was located right next to the square, so you are just steps away from all the restaurants/shops. Definitely recommend staying here on your visit to the area.

They cook for you onsite! Meals are cheap, breakfast is provided, location is excellent, and the guy knows just about everything you want to know about how/what/where to go.

We are a family of 5 and stayed in a 6 bed room. The room was very small but suited our purposes. The shower was not hot enough, but the staff tried to fix this for us when we asked them about it. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Wifi was available and worked in the room.

The man at the front desk didn't speak english, didn't know the wifi code, and didn't give me a map. no breakfast included. The outside of the hostel was nice, but it was just me staying in an 8 person dorm. The staff didn't go out of their way to help me out, all explanations were brief. The bed was good, there are no lockers. the hostel is 'okay', I was just staying a night to see the ruins, but don't expect much. just painfully average to below average.

Everything is great about the hostel - location can\'t be beat (seconds away from the main square and train station) and the facilities were nice. However, the staff speaks almost no English (I used Google translate to communicate) and the breakfast costs 4 euros (most expensive I\'ve encountered so far in terms of hostel breakfasts). Also, they didn\'t have any useful information about bus schedules for Vesuvius, maps of the town, or prices for the Ruins. I had to look up everything online.

The staff did not speak very much English but we didn\'t have any trouble understanding each other all the same, and they make an amazing home cooked dinner for you for only 10€. Possibly the best meal I had during my stay in Italy. It is a 10 min walk from the train station (although their directions weren\'t great, really just get off the train, walk down via sacra to the square, turn right and right, there are big stone lions out front). And it\'s only a 5 min walk to Pompeii.

Pretty nice place. Good food. Comfortable bed. Terrible shower (Fix that curtain!). We were very cold. Heat needed to be on. The WIFI did not work in our room, so we had to sit in the dining or garden areas. I would consider staying again, but I felt the price was a little high for a hostel. Could have used a kitchen.

Shower needs a hand rail for safety as it's up steps with no sides on the shower base - also slippery when wet. Some hooks for hanging items would be handy. We stayed 5 nights - the shower wets the floor, so the bathroom floor needed to be wiped out at least once during our stay and this wasn't done. Otherwise a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, great food at restaurant.

A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. It's true there was no heat in the dorm, but there were a lot of blankets so there was no problem. Best part of the experience was the 10-euro evening meal special. That special was a salad and pasta which changed each evening and was absolutely fabulous. The Inkeepers took a special interest in their guests and cooking. Each meal was individually prepared and they were most happy to share their receipes with you.

Right in the centre of town (hard to find one out of it though...), really nice patio area, good free breakfast, commercial kitchen which you can use, and tasty cheap meals. They even had a little pool set up for summer :)

Not much happening in Winter (hardly the hostel's fault) but as advertised a good place to explore the Naples Bay area (Naples, Pompeii ruins and Amalfi coast)

There was no heat, no lock on our room, and the staff did not speak English.

I had a wonderful time at this hostel, the staff are friendly and very helpful. It would benefit any traveller going there to learn at least a little bit of italian before going there or know some spanish. They speak some english but not much. I got lucky that I was in a group with a friend who understood spanish. Love the dog they have there, she is a riot! Locations great and very clean. No lockers in the room I stayed in and no one messed with our stuff. The dinner was great for only 10 euros
